I decided to try Carnation Instant Breakfast Essentials, Ready to Drink in Mixed Berry, but there are lots of flavors. I really enjoyed and wasn’t starving by lunch. Definitely a great, nutritious quick breakfast idea.

I’ve been trying to eat healthier lately and cutting the carb filled breakfasts seemed a good place to start. I haven’t had these in a long time but they are just as good as I remember them being. I had to run to the store to get more so I can enjoy one too. It is super delicious rich full flavor and so effective since it is full of good for you nutritious ingredients. The flavor I had the as the original nutritional drink with Rich Milk Chocolate flavor. It’s very effective in keeping me full. It comes in a tetra pack of 8oz with resealable mouthpiece, this is great since I can seal it back if I can’t finish. In terms of flavor, it’s very much like Chocolate milk.The drink has a thick creamy texture, which makes it easy to go down. It comes with 10g of protein and 21 minerals, which keeps me full while giving me enough nutrient to keep me going. So far, I find the drink can usually keep me full for at least 4-5 hours if I’m just working at my desk. The only down side is that a touch of the protein drinks favor, personally, I’m not a fan of protein flavor. Otherwise, everything else is perfect.

Vitamin D. Serving size on this bottle is 8fl Oz. This particular flavor smells fruity- nice. Taste like cereal milk- which I love. No grainy texture & smooth. You can taste the fruits as you drink it. Does have a carbs. 41g Perfect for on the go running, when you don’t have time to cook or anything. Especially for working moms & dads. Ensuring you get what you need for the morning boost. They have many different flavors. I have enjoyed them for awhile now. Love!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son actually used to drink these when he was a toddler, encouraged by his pediatrician since he needed more calories as a little guy. So I let him try these and asked for his feedback as a teenager now. He said it tasted more like a protein drink, not really like chocolate milk. We both love all the vitamins and good stuff added but ultimately he really didn’t like the taste.

I felt like I was drinking regular chocolate milk except with all of the great essentials and protein as a bonus. I will be adding this to my shopping list.
