There was no wierd after taste or texture. But I am also not sensitive to those things I would try again. Maybe chil to almost frozen?

It was creamy, smooth, sweet and the perfect size to drink in the mornings when you're rushing out on a busy day. I felt satisfied after drinking this and I usually drink it on days where I have no time to make breakfast. My husband even likes it and packs one for when he doesn't have time at work to eat a full lunch.

I absolutely loved the dark chocolate and the malt! Also, I love the variety pack, but I can’t seem to find it in the stores around me. The vanilla and the strawberry are very good, but I think the milk chocolate isn’t as good as the dark chocolate was.

I am disappointed to learn that chocolate malt has been discontinued. It has been my favorite flavor for almost 25 years. I am not a fan of the wet/dry texture of cereal so I was super excited as a kid to have this and have had it as my breakfast for almost every day since! It stopped showing up in local grocery stores awhile ago, but I was very happy to learn I could order cases of it online. Please reconsider bringing it back, at the very least online. The milk chocolate flavor is too sweet in comparison.

It tasted like a chocolate milkshake but one that is healthy for me. So delicious. Very smooth, no aftertaste and from a brand I love and trust. I buy the vanilla and strawberry packages of Carnation Instant Breakfast for my husband and kids and they already love them, so now I am a happy customer as well. Gave me my chocolate fix I crave. Perfect blend of the cookies and cream. I am not a breakfast eater. This morning I decided to try it nice and chilled. I love that it is a healthy drink packed with protein and important nutrients to start my day since breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Great as a meal replacement also. I also love the size of the bottle and how convenient to keep at work. Highly recommended. Exceeded my expectations. I plan on picking more of these bottles up Friday. Thanks!

It smells delicious and taste good. Makes a fast breakfast easily. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a fast breakfast

I'll drink one on my way to work and will stay full for sometime. The taste is very good and smooth. I like that there's several vitamins and protein. My teenage son also enjoys these drinks. These are perfect for picky eaters who may not be getting enough vitamins.

It mixes well with milk and tastes just like hot chocolate but without all the sugar but with the extra protein and vitamins. It comes in single packets which are easy to use.

Two years ago I purchased some cases of the chocolate malt. I’m now down to my last two boxes (exp 6/2017) and decided to reorder only to find you longer offer it. Like Bill mentions below, I’ve been drinking this flavor of Instant Breakfast since I was a young pup in the 60s (yep, I’m 63). Side note - it makes a great chocolate malt with milk and van. ice cream. .
