This has a great chocolate flavor - almost like a milk shake. I like it much better than some of the other high protein drinks. This one tastes like real chocolate and not a substitute. Great when it is ice cold. For me, this is a trusted brand - so it makes me feel like I and my family are getting the best. Highly recommend.

To the Marketing Department: Please reconsider your decision to discontinue Classic Chocolate Malt Instant Breakfast drink. I have been drinking the Classic Chocolate Malt flavor since the 1960's. I never wanted anything for breakfast before I went to school. My mother put her trust in your product and felt much better sending me off to school after I drank a glass of my favorite Classic Chocolate Malt Instant Breakfast drink. I have been drinking this flavor for five decades. Please don't take it away from those of us who still love it! Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These are great for when you're late running out the door to work, school or etc & don't have time to sit down for a full breakfast. This is so easy to mix and I use like 2 cups of milk depending because I like mine on the thinner side rather than thick. You could use a blender, spoon, shaker bottle or even a hand held bender to mix these up. I really like the taste and can always use the extra vitamins and minerals. It doesn’t leave an awkward weird aftertaste. My college age son even will take some to college with him for quick breakfast before class or even a later in afternoon drink while studying. This is a flavor we both enjoy.

So I thought I would give Carnation Breakfast Essentials - Creamy Strawberry a try. I am so glad I did. It is creamy and the strawberry flavor was just right. I felt more energized and it is great start for a busy day. I would recommend this drink to anybody.

I'm a type one diabetic that has trouble keeping weight on. My nutritionist recommend that I drink three glasses of the Carnation Breakfast Essentials a day. I've been doing this every day for the last 6 months. I have gained weight as my doctors has requested and I am very grateful to Nestle for this drink. Thank you thank you thank you!!!

I guess this would be great if you like milk chocolate, but I don't, and it goes right down the drain! I've tried numerous times to drink it after the all dark chocolate boxes were discontinued, and unfortunately I haven't found another flavor that I like. I miss drinking the dark chocolate Carnation Breakfast Essentials every morning. Please please please bring back the DARK chocolate flavor!

I actually bought this about a month ago, put it in the cabinet and promptly forgot about it. I'm not much of a breakfast eater, so something simple and cold appeals to me. I rediscovered them in the cabinet, drank one and LOVED it! Just had another this morning and told my husband that these could certainly become a go-to thing for me. I've seen other reviewers mention how great the Cappuccino flavor was, unfortunately I never had a chance to try it. If it was anywhere as tasty as the Cafe Mocha, by all means, please bring it back!

It’s not a choline milk dupe. They definitely noticed the difference. Worth the money as it does help get in those nutrients. Defying going to be trying other flavors

It seemed bitter to me. I really liked the fact that it contains vitamins and minerals as well as protein and antioxidants. I would probably like a chocolate flavor better.

This is a super quick way to get a meal in, although I prefer to higher protein version since I don’t eat meat frequently. It’s not as tasty as just chocolate milk but it actually dissolves, unlike most protein mixes.
