I guess this would be great if you like milk chocolate, but I don't, and it goes right down the drain! I've tried numerous times to drink it after the all dark chocolate boxes were discontinued, and unfortunately I haven't found another flavor that I like. I miss drinking the dark chocolate Carnation Breakfast Essentials every morning. Please please please bring back the DARK chocolate flavor!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Coronation instant breakfast essentials is something I feel confident giving to my daughter. She loves all things chocolate, and when I made it for her for the first time, she thought it was absolutely delicious. These are great alongside her breakfast because she needs to gain a little more weight. I used a quick shaker with milk on the powder. A couple of shakes and it was perfect. No greeting at all. 

I grew up in the 60's, on Carnation Instant Breakfast, Eggnog flavor. My Grandson doesn't like to eat b'fast in the morning and is following the tradition. I'm disappointed Eggnog flavor isn't available and I see other chocolate varieties, as well. PLEASE, offer maybe a 'Seasonal' variety of 'Throwback' flavors?? That way we can stock up and be happy : ) Also as a nurse, patients needing a supplement, not able to afford the pricey bottled ones are recommended Carnation Instant Breakfast. It's a lifesaver for some.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have fond memories of Carnation breakfast products from growing up, so was interested in trying the pre-mixed version. This is in effect an instant breakfast. I suggest putting it in the fridge before using it. This is a good instant breakfast option for the a.m. when you need to just get started or out the door. I wish the ingredient list was easier to read, too small. I like that they use stevia, but the carbs are still to high at 41g. It is mixed berry flavor with 0% fruit. Probably better to go with the chocolate.

Very easy to mix up. Only thing is it's a bit less protein than other brands and more calories. It's a great shake overall

This drink really helps fill in the nutritional gaps from their picky diets. And I don't have to fight with them to drink it!

This product is perfect if you are in a hurry or want to feel good in the morning but cant handle a lot of food too early .. it is my coffee .. vitamins make u feel good and a bit of protein. Wish I had good coupons . 1 is all u need in the morning to feel just right . I like the already made ones in a little bottle . I need some good coupons though.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was very impressed by the Carnation Breakfast Essentials powder milk chocolate. Normally these drinks don’t have a very good chocolate milk taste or are very weak in flavor. This drink was the opposite, it had great flavor and no bad after taste. This is also packed full of vitamins and protein. I could drink this on a daily basis but I’m diabetic so I can only drink it in moderation.

Honestly when I got the product I was thrown off by the strawberry flavor but the color was like a brownish color. The taste wasn't what I expected. My kids drank the rest of it and they enjoyed it.I like the fact that it has all those vitamins and nutritional ingredients. That alone would make my decision on purchasing this product for my family. Overall the product is a good one.
