[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Carnation Essentials Ready Berry breakfast drink was perfect to drink on the way to work. I'm not a big fan of breakfast but having the ready berry drink was a good thing. It has a nice berry taste, not the kind the makes you pucker up because it's tart. The drink tasted just like a regular fruit drink. It really was good. Plus it was just enough that I wasn't starving by lunch time. I plan on buying more. This really is perfect if you don't have time for breakfast or not a big fan of breakfast!!

I gave it to my fiance to try for free testing purposes and his homest review since he's a huge chocolate milk and milk lover. He loved it and said it tastes just like chocolate milk. The only thing he did not like about it is that it's a little clumpy when he mixes the mix with regular milk in a glass with a fork or spoon. He would recommend it to others who are looking for a tasty milk drink with extra protein as it does contain 13 grams of protein in 1 serving.

When I was little I just could not eat anything in the morning before school, I felt sick to my stomach if I did. Then Instant Breakfast came along, Instant Breakfast was a life saver for me because my mom would let me have it and I just loved the taste. I had no problem having something to drink in the morning. Well I’m 64 and my wonderful husband makes me an Instant Breakfast almost every morning. I have it a little differently today, with unsweetened coconut almond milk, but I still love it just the same. I am a 12 year survivor of stage IV unresectable head and neck cancer and struggle to swallow most foods. I drink Carnation instant breakfast twice a day, one mixed with my morning coffee and another later in the day with milk or as a shake or a smoothie. Without this product, my quality of life would be unbearable.

That is where Carnation Breakfast Essentials comes in really handy. I recently got the Classic French Vanilla flavor to try. I grabbed it one morning as I went out the door..Shook it up, drank it down...it was so delicious and filling. No nasty aftertaste. This will definately become a part of my morning routine.

It definitely was refreshing and kept me full till lunch. I tried the berry because I love berries but forgetting I dont like strawberry milk this was much the same. Just too sweet for me for a milk like substance. I think i would like chocolate or even vanilla better so definitely trying those next!
