Most days she struggles to drink them. Cookies and cream however went down so fast. I barely got a sip. It had great flavor. It was not gritty, but very smooth. A new favorite for sure.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recieved this Carnation Breakfast Essentials Original Nutritional Powder Drink Mix in the flavor Rich Milk Chocolate as a sample from Influenster. I think it tastes chocolate shake like and is very easy to prepare. All you need to do is mix the packet with a glass of skim milk which is very easy. This is much more cost effective than my coffee!

To my biggest suprise my kids and I absolutely loved this flavor drink! It has minerals and vitamins that everyone could use and need along with calcium to strengthen our bones. It is smooth and silky and also gives your body that boost you need to begin your day.

Carnation Instant Breakfast, as it was called, is filling and delicious to start the day or replace any meal. I do not understand why Vanilla has a higher price because I love Vanilla as well as Chocolate but cannot spend extra for it. Would buy it more often if both cost the same. Vanilla is a nice change after lots of chocolate foods, drinks.

The cookies and cream flavor is a nice addition to the traditional flavor line up. Sugar content is a little high, but I like that there are no artificial sweeteners used in this product.

I've been using this in smoothies for years. I just wish Sam's would carry vanilla.
