I have been buying Hellmans for over 50 years. I have been buying the big jar at a big box store and the last time I bought it I thought it was going bad because it looked darker. I purchased a new jar and the same thing. Then I read the label. New plastic. Who thought this was a good idea. Not a fan and not a happy customer. People look at the jar and they don't want to use it. Sorry for the review as I have always been a fan. Have to make deviled eggs and not sure what to do.

The last two containers of Hellman's came in plastic containers. I don't know if it is the plastic giving Hellman's the bad taste or not but something is wrong. I have now decided to try another brand because I can't take the taste anymore. What used to be my favorite is now on the naughty list.

My mother brought us up on Hellman's Mayonnaise here in the mid-west during the 60's & 70's. We were not a home that used any other brand nor did we use salad dressing in our potato salad, chicken salad or our BLT's sandwiches. Grandma's garden produce the best tomatoes due to the hot humid summers in Illinois that even if you didn't have the bacon or lettuce you were good as long as you had bread, a garden tomato and Hellman's Mayonnaise. Yummy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this new bottle design compared to the old design. I feel that there is less mess and I am able to use all the mayo in the bottle. Hellman's is the ONLY mayonnaise allowed in our house, and that is the consensus of all family members!

I grew up with Hellmann's! I now use Hellmann's exclusively for my family. I tried others over the years, but nothing compares to Hellmann's!!! When I cook from scratch, it's because I want to control what goes in my meals because I love my family. I only give them the best , and the best is Hellmann's.

This brand by far is the best mayo ever. The flavor and creaminess goes with many different recipes. The possibilities are endless! I love the new squeeze bottle that it comes in too. So easy to use, no waste and no messes like other bottles. Making tuna sandwiches was never this easy. #squeezeitout!

The new design makes squeezing out just enough mayo on your sandwich a breeze and it doesn't leave behind the mess you get from other squeeze bottles. Best of all, you don't risk scooping out too much mayo the way you would with jar mayo.

I know I should try the other Hellmann's products that offer less calories and a little healthier but I love the flavor, creaminess, versatile it is when cooking with it. So it is worth every extra calorie. Just tried the recipe for macaroni salad everyone loved it. I refuse to buy anything else, there is a difference.

I’ve been using Hellmans Mayo since I could eat solid foods 63 years ago and I’ve noticed a change over the years. I agree with the former one star review! It’s the plastic! PLEASE PLEASE put it back in glass. Not to mention the ergonomics involved as they are not recycling! I would even by the smaller jar if I could find it in glass. There is a difference!
