This is awful! It doesn't taste like Hellmann's at all. It seems to be the same recipe, just with organic ingredients and that should not make any difference to the taste. Unfortunately, this is about the worst mayo I've ever tried. Bitterly disappointed.

My grandma always used Miracle Whip. My favorite is still a good, classic mayonnaise flavor and Hellman's delivers with their perfect flavor and texture. I love how versatile Mayo is and that it can be used on sandwiches or in dishes. Looking forward to eating the rest of this jar up in a variety of ways!

Hellmans is the only mayoniase I will buy. It's rich creamy texture, smooth taste is exactly what I need on every sandwich I eat. It's also great for rubbing on poultry when baking, or adhering breading if you want to fry chicken or port chops. Even use it with baking crust products. Keep meat nice and juicy even mix with chopped garlic to rub on roasts. . If I can't find Hellmans, I just don't buy mayonaise. We were due for a snowstorm so I made sure I bought a jar because I knew I was low at home. One of my must have items!

My mother-in-law made the all time BEST ever potato salad !!!! She shared her recipe with anyone that asked. She would proudly reply “ I follow the recipe on the Hellman’s original real mayo jar “ . Sadly, Granny passed away in 2013. Her grandkid & great grandkids still ask for Granny’s potato salad recipe - I now tell them the secret is the Hellmann’s !!!!

I grew up on Hellman’s, raised my kids, and grandkids on it. My Dad made Hellman’s and Skippy Peanut Butter. We can’t eat anything else. Believe me, I challenge you to do the blindfold comparison. You may not know it’s Hellman’s but you will know it’s the best! When eating out, I love tuna, chicken or shrimp salad sandwiches but have to ask what mayonnaise they use first. If not Hellmann’s than I don’t order them.

I use it on sandwiches, in potato salad and i even marinate chicken with it. It has a million different uses so it is convenient for anyone.

The addition of water to mayonnaise is an attempt to cheapen your product with serious detriment to the quality. The reason people are complaining about oil separation is due to the addition of water. The egg is not enough to maintain the emulsion. I know all brands are doing this and you are just trying to keep your price competitive; however, the brand that reintroduces an all oil mayonnaise will probably dominate the market. Also, do not tell me the addition of water is an attempt to reduce calories. If that is true then you would have restricted this tactic to the light mayonnaise.

I had fallen in love with the Balsamic mayo, went to buy another jar and it is no longer available in the 3 chain supermarkets in my area. Can I buy it directly from Hellman s. I found it on Amazon at more that twice the price. I do not buy scalped tickets or mayo. My sandwiches are not the same without it.
