This is my first choice when it comes to mayonnaise! It has a great flavour and goes well for all my mayo needs! I like the thickness and the texture. I took off a star because it is generally way more expensive than other brands, so I don't always get to buy this one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hellmans Mayo has been a stapling in my family for decades, it's one of those condiments that just go with anything and everything. From dips to sandwich, salads even baked goods. You can use Mayo for just about anything including your hair.

Products are always reformulated to cut corners and increase profit. Sometime within the past 18 months or so, Hellman's reformulated this old standby. The texture used to be stiffer, almost like stiff egg whites, with a very eggy flavor. The texture is now much more funny and thin, like Miracle Whip. The flavor is more tart than it used to be, no overpowering the egg flavor which is now reduced. They've obviously upped the water content, even though oil is still the lead ingredient. In salads, it starts to get watery after it sits a day, so you'll end up throwing your left over deviled eggs and potato salad away. Obviously a Boardroom decision made by out of touch suits in their corporate bubble, having nothing but contempt for the loyal consumer and ruining a once-good product in favor of the bottom line. Need to find another product, since Hellman's has left deserted me as a once-loyal customer.

No more having to try to reach the bottom of the bottle and the ease of squeezing only the amount you want and need is excellent. I wish all products had this innovative container. you can finally get every last bit of the mayo from the bottle. Please make it available in other larger sizes in the future. When will this product be available locally in stores???? Also easy for children to handle without a mess.

It's an absolute classic, it's a brand that never lets me down or changes quality. When it comes to sandwiches, Burgers, Tuna or egg salad Hellman's is always my first choice; my go to.

You can deny you have changed the ingredients all day long, but the true test is in the taste and it is NOT the same Hellmann's. I'm 75 and have loved this mayonnaise all my life. First of all when you look at the jar there is a greyish color to the container. It is no longer an ivory color looking at the jar. Just that alone is off-putting. I thought it was me; thought I had let my mayo go bad. NO - the taste is really bad and then I read some comments that others made online, and it confirmed I was correct. This is a real shame. I now have to find another mayonnaise. Not sure I'll find one with the taste as good as your original product, but hopefully it won't taste rancid. It's always sad when a great brand changes the flavor of their product. And this was truly the very best mayo on the market. I ask you: have you actually tasted your product? Because if you had, you would surely agree with the people who have noticed and contacted you about this terrible new taste. I have one 15 oz jar left. Although it was very expensive to purchase, I am throwing the unopened jar away and will no longer be a customer. Goodbye Hellmann's...

At 74, I've been a lifelong devotee of Hellman's Real Mayonnaise and have never purchased any other brand, but the last couple of jars we've have left me wondering what had changed. The flavor that I always loved is missing and the lovely think texture is gone, being replaced by a thin, almost soupy consistency. I hate to say "goodbye" to Hellman's, Unless you revert to your original recipe (or processing method), I will be looking for a bland that will be pleasing to my palate. So sad and disappointed!

I think Hellmann's can be used for anything at all. The one that my family was amazed about is how i spred the mayo all over my whole turkey or chicken before putting in the oven, it makes such a nice brown color and crunch to the skin. Other than that I use it for everything .........

We only buy Hellman's mayonnaise and keep it regularly stocked in our pantry. Sometimes we joke we are on a mayonnaise diet because we love it so much. Nice creamy texture and a slight tang. It's perfect for mixing up with other condiments to make dips and spreads.
