I expect the new packaging for the Light Mayonnaise was designed and tested by men. I am a healthy adult woman who lifts weights. I am not arthritic. To use your newly designed package, I have to squeeze both sides with all my might, and then I don't get more than a trickle of mayonnaise. It helps somewhat try to clean out the hole. But why should you have to work so hard to begin with. I find this design exasperating. I am ready to stop using the product.

Hi, Just wanted to relate that for the past three years every birthday, holiday, and party celebration relating to my eleven-year old nephew, always includes a jar of Hellmann's as part of my gift to him. He absolutely LOVES your mayo. In restaurants, sometimes he has to settle for a restaurant brand, but certainly not at home! I wish I had thought to record this past Christmas Eve celebration. Of course, he had a jar of Hellmann's included in his stocking/gift bag. I know it may seem silly to relate this, but it is nice to be able to start the day writing something positive and cheerful. Your product brings a smile to my nephew's face. In turn, I've noticed, how his reaction affects the rest of us. Suddenly, grins appear on our faces, too. It enhances our family celebrations. The Holy Grail of MAYO lovers. Seriously, people who say miracle whip and mayo are the same are delusional. You want to make a dip? Hellmans. Dip your fries in mayo? Hellmans. Add to your burger or sub? Hellmans. There's really no competition. Hellmans is so good.

For me I can't do miracle whip. It's way to sweet and just doesn't have the mayonnaise taste. I can't buy or use any other brand of Mayo this is the best tasting mayonnaise that's on the market. Sure it cost Alittle more than most mayonnaise but it's worth the extra money for sure.

I am a 3rd generation "We only use Hellmans" family member, from a huge family of cooks. Our exlusive mayo does NOT taste the same. Nothing we make with it tastes the same, and we can all tell. What happened? This change-you're clearly not admitting-is NOT for the better. Please bring back your original recipe. We're already testing other brands. This new and not improved version will never do.

The only mayonnaise that was ever in our house when I grew up in the late 30s, 40s, and early 50s was Hellmann's, so little wonder that it is the only brand ever in my house. I've tasted others, but nothing favorably compares to Hellmann's. Guess which brand is in my children's and grandchildren's homes? :) I don't remember exactly when, but I believe a subtle change was made in the ingredients and it's not one that we like. It doesn't now have the distinctly fresh, and specific Hellmann's unique flavor. The consistency is the same, so I don't understand the reviews saying it's runny or has a tendency to separate and not be thick and creamy. I buy only the (plastic now) jars, not the squeeze bottle type. Also, I don't buy the new Olive Oil, Light, Balsamic, etc. types, as I like only the Original Hellmann's I grew up with. This is the one that I notice a slight and unfavorable taste in, yet it still beats any other brand on the market. It is because of a change in ingredients, such as a different oil, or the GMO someone mentioned in reviews? Whatever it is, it detracts from the Original, which means it isn't TRULY the "Original." This is the only reason I don't give it five stars. Like so many have recommended here, change it back to what it was during the decades I grew up in, and then you will have the same mayonnaise that is passed down through generations. That's built-in marketing that doesn't cost you a dime! It wouldn't be very smart to interfere with that in any way now, would it? Loyalty like this can't be bought; it comes from consistency of product that people like. People will desert the brand very quickly if it changes in any way they don't like. Have the Hellmann's marketing department read every review on this board. It means survival in today's fickle shopping universe.

I was a bit hesitant to try the new squirt bottle type dispenser by Hellmann's as I had mixed results with other products like it. Happy to say, I was pleasantly surprised how well it worked. I can get just the right amount every time, and it stores so easily on the fridge door.

Your "all natural" claim is no longer valid. It's a funny color now that is bio engineered STUFF. Right on the back label in small print. We don't eat cheese food or cheese product either. We eat CHEESE and we eat MAYONNAISE. Duke's is still all natural.
