I am 82 and have used Hellman's mayonnaise for as long as you've been in business (assuming you're younger than I am). I always loved it until last week: It is runny and tastes so different from the last jar I bought that - after the squeeze bottles I bought are used up, I will not buy it again. In New Orleans, Blue Plate mayonnaise is very popular so that is what I will buy. Such a shame. I see others have written about the same as I have .

Having just read some reviews I wonder if someone can tell where I An going wrong? Being an old skinflint! I like to use all of the mayonnaise before discarding but I find that as the level goes down (inthese new upside down bottles) the greater difficulty in squeezing out the mayonnaise.Somuch so that I am about to discard a bottle wit about 2inches of mayonnaise still unwilling to come out. Is my frig too cold - it is not on lowest setting- and while I applaud the new shape in that the outlet does not get messy the price seems to be having to waste about 7.5 per cent of the contents.this is the 3rd new shape and it has happened on all so far. HELP please

I have tried cheap brands of mayo and even more expensive brands but nothing beats the taste of hellmann's real mayonnaise. Its so smooth and creamy, everytime I need a condiment it's the first I reach for. Whether on burgers or banana and mayonnaise sandwiches (YUMMY!!) it is a perfect pairing. I won't let any of my family buy anything else.

I bought a 15 oz jar a few days ago upon opening it didn't look the same wattery looking ,like ,curd looking. Exp. Sep 1017. I went out,and bought a smaller jar, Exp. sep 2017. This one tasted correctly other one no good. My brother in another city just opened,his new 15oz jar and said it was ugly. too. I wonder if they changed recipe?

I have noticed a big difference in Hellmanns Mayonnaise. I googled Hellmans to see if they changed the recipe and mentioned a reason why they would. But did not find an answer. i see other people have noticed as well. The consistancy is terrible now instead of a knife to spread it you need a spoon. Why would you change a product that was perfect!

Lets be honest .You get your favorite bread and all ingredients meat cheese lettuce tomato and then you get the salad dressing .Wait you are making a sandwich right not a salad so go with flavor that marries it all together. Or you can cube the bread and tear the lettuce and dice tomato's for the salad still better use the Hellmann's your family will thank you.

Helmans mayo has changed from the favorite taste i have used for 4 decades. I have to find another brand to use now in my recipes, it has a different consistency also, not as thick. Very disappointing. Why have they ruined a perfectly wonderful product?

For The People who claim that Hellmann's does not taste the same , i would check on any or all medication you may be taking because that has a huge impact on your sense of taste. I use Hellmann's very often and have been using it for many years and i dont see any difference in consistancy or flavor. For a side note, this product fits in perfectly with my Low Carb Diet.

Please don’t advertise as simple products ….. changing the recipe some time ago ruined the simplicity of your product. I always counted on Hellmans for simple natural products, and that has been ruined over time. Calcium Disodiym EDTA is not a simple ingredient, nor however you want to spin it is it worth ruining your product for shelf life. Finally the public is getting informed and perhaps that will alarm your company to go back to it roots

I'm so excited that best foods has created this mayonnaise that does not contain soy bean oil because I cannot have soy in my diet and I love there mayonnaise and I hope that they continue to make this new version because otherwise I'm going to have to stop eating mayonnaise.
