Is it really so hard to see that this jar is possibly the WORST design that one could have for a product that is frequently used in cup-sized quantities in common recipes? How much easier to have a wide-mouth top, and a shorter jar so that an ordinary SPOON would work to scoop out the mayo? Perhaps you could argue that the squeeze bottle fits that need, but I need to use larger and more cost effective solutions. After 40 years of using this, I now realize that there are more consumer-friendly options.

I purchased the Hellmann’s squeeze bottle that you store in the refrigerator upside down however, I have an issue because the battle doesn’t allow you to squeeze out between an inch and 2 inches of the mayonnaise left even though it’s stored upside down to me that’s a waste of mayonnaise and a waste of money I will not be purchasing this again because of the design and how much mayonnaise I can use I guess I’ll stick with the jars. I thought this would be more convenient especially when I put some on a sandwich because it’s more accurate oh well. Thanks for listening

The only mayonnaise that was ever in our house when I grew up in the late 30s, 40s, and early 50s was Hellmann's, so little wonder that it is the only brand ever in my house. I've tasted others, but nothing favorably compares to Hellmann's. Guess which brand is in my children's and grandchildren's homes? :) I don't remember exactly when, but I believe a subtle change was made in the ingredients and it's not one that we like. It doesn't now have the distinctly fresh, and specific Hellmann's unique flavor. The consistency is the same, so I don't understand the reviews saying it's runny or has a tendency to separate and not be thick and creamy. I buy only the (plastic now) jars, not the squeeze bottle type. Also, I don't buy the new Olive Oil, Light, Balsamic, etc. types, as I like only the Original Hellmann's I grew up with. This is the one that I notice a slight and unfavorable taste in, yet it still beats any other brand on the market. It is because of a change in ingredients, such as a different oil, or the GMO someone mentioned in reviews? Whatever it is, it detracts from the Original, which means it isn't TRULY the "Original." This is the only reason I don't give it five stars. Like so many have recommended here, change it back to what it was during the decades I grew up in, and then you will have the same mayonnaise that is passed down through generations. That's built-in marketing that doesn't cost you a dime! It wouldn't be very smart to interfere with that in any way now, would it? Loyalty like this can't be bought; it comes from consistency of product that people like. People will desert the brand very quickly if it changes in any way they don't like. Have the Hellmann's marketing department read every review on this board. It means survival in today's fickle shopping universe.

The taste I used to love for YEARS isn't there anymore! I've noticed in the last year or so, that the taste isn't the same. I just dismissed it as; maybe they made a bad batch or something. But NO! I just opened ANOTHER jar and it's just NOT GOOD! Tastes like it's been sitting in the sun for days. I'm really upset because this was the ONLY mayo I would buy for the last 40+ years.

Grew up on Hellman's Mayo. My mother used to sell potato & marcaroni salads along with Cole slaw and she only used Hellman's. I followed in her footsteps and buy the best Mayo ~ Hellman's. My husband bought another brand and then realized that was a big mistake so Hellman's has been a staple in our home ever since!

I've only used Hellmann's since I can remember and that is many, many, many . . . years ago LOL. I have always loved the taste, texture and quality of Hellmann's especially in my potato and seafood salads! The quality has been consistent throughout the years! I can't find the tarter sauce in my area but would LOVE to try that!

My mother used Hellman, I use Hellmans - that's well over 60 years of using this product. Wouldn't consider using anything else - however over the last year something changed . First it doesn't taste like it used to and second, the consistency is very thin. Whether it's the soy or extra water -don't care, please go back to orignal formula

Dear Hellmans, I have been using your mayo since I was a newlywed in 1962. My husband insisted on it! I have been buying the Kirkland mayo for a couple of years now - only recently realizing it goes rancid before the jar is done. Back to Best Foods now and reading the label yesterday, I found that is is made with Soybean oil!!!! Haven't you heard about the GMO soybeans????? If you go so far as to use cage free eggs, why don' t you find an oil that is not a GMO product???!!!

It's an absolute classic, it's a brand that never lets me down or changes quality. When it comes to sandwiches, Burgers, Tuna or egg salad Hellman's is always my first choice; my go to.

Absolutely the only Mayonnaise I will ever buy no matter what the price is. It has the best flavor and has been that way for years. My mom bought it, I buy it and now my adult children buy it. I have never been disappointed with the quality or the flavor.
