It spreads really easily. It has a good but mild flavor. I can't say it's the best mayo, but I would recommend, especially because it's readily available in stores. It works great in recipes.

Some folks, like me, cannot eat corn without getting a migraine 10 hours after eating it. Thank goodness that Hellmann's makes their mayonnaise without ingredients derived from corn. The two other major brands of mayonnaise/salad dressing in my area contain corn derived ingredients, I can assure you from sad experience. Think Hellman's mayo seems different lately? Take a large spoon and mix it in circles inside the jar - it's full of air! It's no longer as thick in consistency until you do this...tastes a little different, too. You can even hear the air escape and watch the product shrink in the container. I'm sure this was done so they could fill the bottles with less product. Your full jar isn't so full and neither is whatever you're adding it to! Disappointing. I'm switching back to Miracle Whip.
