The Hellmans brand is in crisis. Review after review has the same complaint as me: this is not the same product I’ve been super loyal to for decades. Hellmans is so iconic that it’s included by name in my family’s heirloom potato salad recipe passed down 3 generations. It is so runny now. Bring back the fluffy, almost jiggly thick mayonnaise. People are giving you legitimate feedback and you’re just gaslighting that the recipe hasn’t changed. Well your product/QC managers better hustle up and figure out the source of this problem because the last two to three jars I’ve purchased are off. I need thick mayonnaise for my recipes to work—goopy, liquidy does not create the right texture. It’s as if the recipe contains more water than previous. Maybe your suppliers are messing with you. Get into the stores and taste your own product for gods sake! If your jars in Englewood Cliffs are the same as years past then come to Colorado where I am if you have to, where I know it’s poor quality/changed product. Sad that you’re not taking your loyal customers seriously. If you admitted, we are getting complaints and investigating asap and taking this seriously, I would stick around. But I’m going store brand mayonnaise and not returning to Hellmans until your review section demonstrates this has been sorted out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am loving the new bottle design! The new spout works great. It's so much easier for sandwiches. Much less mess! It's even better for traveling and taking to cookouts. The top stays clean too. I can't believe it took this long for a mayonnaise to come out with a squeeze bottle. And of course the taste is the best. Hellmann's is the only brand to buy!

Hellman’s Real Mayonnaise is simply inedible since formula/recipe changed. Loose & runny. Taste is not the same & after opening & storing in refrigerator, tastes rancid after a short time. I emailed Hellman’s, but after reading all the negative reviews, I am sure they won’t go back to the Hellman’s we loved. I am not wasting my money on this product and will try Kraft Mayonnaise that receives good reviews. Possibly Hellman’s changing to soybean oil from canola oil changed their product. Plus are they watering it down to make more money?

Helmans mayo has changed from the favorite taste i have used for 4 decades. I have to find another brand to use now in my recipes, it has a different consistency also, not as thick. Very disappointing. Why have they ruined a perfectly wonderful product?

After 50 years you changed the recipe. Why did you think we wouldn't notice? That is such an insult to people like me who've been a loyal consumer for all of our lives. You didn't just change the recipe a little bit, you changed it a lot. It's awful. Today I made the same seven layer salad that I have made for my friend's birthday for the past 10 years and it tastes horrible. And don't tell me I added too much sugar or whatever because I only use a layer of straight Hellman's REAL Mayonnaise. At least when Coca-Cola introduced new Coke, they told us so, admitted their mistake and went back to the OG formula. But you just tried change it and think we wouldn't notice. What an insult to the consumer. "Cage free?" Do you really think anybody believes that? It's time to fire the new product developers and marketing team who thought this was a good idea.

I am going to be 76 years old this year, and I have been using Hellmanns for over 50 plus years. My mother used Hellmanns Mayonnaise when we were children. I wouldn't use anything else. I have found nothing that compares to this excellent Mayonnaise.

Who's brilliant idea was to change the best recipe in existence for the perfect sandwich,salads, deviled eggs, etc... You have just disappointed an entire country and maybe nation. We have been loyal to you is it much to ask for you to be loyal to us. Hopefully I will find a compatible sandwich spread that will make Hellmmans a distant memory. The new one is not worth trying to get use to it discussing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really love Mayo . What makes a good Mayo for me is the ability to be creamy with peaks . This Mayo did just that. I used this brand as a substitute for a egg wash to make Dorito crusted burritos and pickled ranch dressing . Definitely recommend. Great with sandwiches and burgers as well !

Dear Hellmans. I know Covid-19 had changed a lot of things but here lately your product has had a creamy, thinner texture and tastes different from the thicker texture we grew up on in 1970’s New York, now Atlanta ga. Please tell me your not changing the recipe
