Has always been my favorite. Have used for many years However the new recycled jar has turned me off. It makes the mayo look ruined. I know the mayo is fine but just looking from the outside nauseates me. Ill have to pass on it as much as i love it.How food looks in the package is important. The grey look ruins my appetite.

I winter in Arizona and had to search very hard to find Helmanns at a Family Dollar. Everyone else from Wisconsin has realized that so it's a race to get some when the shipment comes in! The western product Best is good but not what I'm used to for my salad dressings which I've made for 40 years in Wisconsin. The last jar I bought did not hold up the airy, thick texture I love. I hope it was a one-time glitch and not that they're changing the formula. There are plenty of versions of Helmann's. Please leave the original as is.

I recently received one of the new squeeze bottles to review . We already loved the taste of Hellmanns so the question for us was big jar or squeese bottle . I have to say after using the squeese bottle I will be purchusing it . It was much more convenient for picnics / tailgating it also makes me feel a better about our 10 and 12 year old making their own sandwichs since they have no need to use a knife. It seems to stay fresher in the fridge since we are not taking the top off and on ..less transfer of foods since there is no "dipping" of anything in the jar . Money wise for us I would be willing to pay a little more for the pro's of using a squeese bottle .

All the others taste different and not in a good way. Hellmans has a distinct flavor that I like, that the competitors don't. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love this brand the best!! The mayo is light and has a great flavor. They also have lots of other flavors and even hot sauce. I like the texture some mayos are either too water or too thick but this one is just perfect. It also had a decent price for the amount.

I purchased a large and a small standing container and found there is no way to get some of the mayo out when you have used most of the product. That packaging is a complete waste of money. I learned my lesson and will NEVER purchase your mayo in that container. At least you can scrape out most of the mayo in the jar container. I would recommend Hellman's mayo, of course, but certainly NOT in that stand up container...only in the jar.

I do wish the first ingredient was not soybean oil. I prefer olive oil in my mayos. I also appreciate that the mayo tries to market the plastic jar as recyclable but not all states recycle. Glass is a greener option in this case. But great taste. I am using this sample for my sandwiches! I received this item from top box In exchange for my honest opinion.

I just can't believe you've ruined my former favorite Mayo. I'm 57 and Hellmann's has been my preferred Mayo all my life. There was nothing else like it with it's firm eggy texture that separated when you stuck your knife into the jar. Now it's just a soupy crème that is indistinguishable from Kraft, a product I've always hated and have never purchased. Now, there's no difference, I might as well buy that. The first time I noticed the difference it was when I had purchased a jar of Hellmann's light so I thought maybe it was just a change in that type. Next time, I purchased the original and found to my dismay that it was also unrecognizable. I thought it was a temporary fluke but have found now, over the past year, that sadly, you have obviously made some change in the recipe or the process. I mourn the loss and will be trying other brands since it seems they are all the same awful texture. You have lost my lifelong loyalty until and unless you change it back. What a horrible decision someone made here. :(
