While I had never tried it before, I gave it a shot and found that it didn't quite suit my tastes. The flavor didn't appeal to me, and I was hoping for a better experience. However, my fiancée enjoyed it and finished it, so it may just be a matter of personal preference.

It was actually cheaper for me to order this bundle of ketchup and mustard packets than it was for me to order mustard packets on their own, so yay. Can't speak for the ketchup because I threw them away, but the mustard tastes delightfully like mustard. Nice to have on hand at the office when Jimmy John's forgets (EVERY. SINGLE. TIME.).

I have always loved the flavor and creaminess of Hellmann's. Sadly, a few years ago they started adding sugar to their recipe. With all our advances and understanding in nutrition, one would think corporations would try and limit harmful additives. Hellmann's was great without adding sugar. Now we have to pay a little more for a lesser quality food item.

I am living in remote Africa and brought 12 bottles of Easy Out Hellman's Real Mayonnaise from the US when I moved here seven months ago. I have always purchased Hellman's brand, however only in a jar, never before in the Easy Out container. The design of the Easy Out container has turned out to be a disaster. Inevitably when I try to squeeze mayonnaise out, what starts with a pretty consistent stream ends up with a spritz and splatter, usually all over my shirt. And because of the shape of the container, it is impossible to get all of the mayonnaise out. I also noticed a very distinct difference in the taste and consistency of the mayonnaise and have learned from other comments posted here that Hellman's has changed the formula for Real mayonnaise. So now I am stuck with a bunch of containers of run-of-the-mill mayonnaise that is ruining my clothing and doesn't taste all that good. You have sorely disappointed this loyal customer who has purchased nothing but Hellman's for the past 45 years.

Something doesn't taste right with Hellman's mayo anymore. For quite a while now I have noticed that there is a rancid oily aftertaste soon after opening. I opened a brand new jar to make potato salad this morning because the Hellman's in the fridge tasted bad, new jar tastes just as bad. Thought I got a bad jar or that it might be old but the use by date is SEP1615 so it isn't old. Don't know what changed, but if I wanted mayonnaise that tasted like this I could by a bargain brand. Whatever you changed, please change it back.

Been using Hellmann's for 12 years. Bought at this time in the squeeze bottle like I normally do and it looks fine when you apply it to the bread but after a few minutes the bread is disgustingly wet and the sandwich starts leaking white watery goo. It's gross and unappealing. I don't know why or how or what they did but I won't be buying Hellmann's anymore after this. Time to start trying out other real mayonnaises.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think this is a great product for sandwiches, dips, and even cooking.  We use it most often to cook with and I do rather enjoy it on a chicken sandwich.  I really want a quality product when I use it for cooking so it does not break down and Hellmann's has never let me down in the kitchen.

Do you use Hellman’s Mayonnaise or butter for making grilled cheese? I’m telling you, Hellman’s Mayonnaise is the way to go! It tastes so much better in my opinion. The mayonnaise makes the bread golden brown and delicious down to the last bite. We also use Hellman’s Mayonnaise in many other recipes, such as: sandwiches, pasta salads, and more!
