Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise is a pantry staple in our house. It is absolutely our favorite brand of mayonnaise. The taste is wonderful. I love that it is so rich and creamy. It is my family's favorite sandwich condiment. I appreciate its versatility. I use Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise as an ingredient in everything from salads to cakes. I like that Hellmann's is a socially conscious company. I appreciate that the jars are made from 100% recycled plastic. I also like the fact that they use cage free eggs in Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise. I would definitely recommend Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise.

I'm reading reviews that mention a change in flavor. I believe it's the oil you are using. I don't know if it's a cheaper grade—soybean oil?—but I can taste the difference. Please go back to what you were before so I don't have to shop for another brand.

You have changed the ingredients or the quality of the ingredients or the percentage of each ingredient. Your customers are not idiots. I hope the increase in profit margins is making up for all of your lost customers. The iconic Hellmans mayonnaise is now tasteless watery garbage. One question, is carrageenan one of the “natural flavors”??

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hellmann's mayonnaise is so delicious, my whole family loves eating it. It's so creamy and tastes good with everything! We make tuna salad with this mayonnaise and it's the best! I always buy it, it's my first choice!

I've been a Hellman's fan for 50 years. For the past year I started using Hellman's packets - for convenience. I'd tuck them into a pocket heading to picnics and parties because I hate Miracle Whip so I'd always have trust Hellman's with me. Then I started noticing a cardboard like after-taste and a funny texture lingering on the palate after swallowing. I thought the packets went bad, though there is no date on them and I threw out the box them came in. So I threw them out. Then I opened a fresh bottle of Hellmans. SAME taste and lingering texture! Bottle was fresh, consistency seemed good, I thought it was me. Two weeks later I started noticing a change in the texture of the remaining mayo - it was less dense, not runny as some suggest, but certainly degrading. I did something I rarely do - discarded the bottle before I reached the bottom - it was just getting weird a month after opening (and I like mine cold, so its always refrigerated). I started Googling around and there are MANY people complaining of the same issues (though more complaining about soupiness which I can't say I've experienced - or not as badly anyway as texture did change). This never happened in the years I've been using the product - going to start seeking alternatives.

You guys say you haven't changed the recipe but it don't taste the same. I've been eating it all my life and it never tasted like this. You might not have changed the ingredients but ypu got cheaper ingredients or changed the preservatives in it. I stop getting certain ranch bc this taste was in it. Do better. I've thrown away several jars bc I thought something was wrong with it but no. You just are trying to make more profit. Shame on you. You have lost a customer for sure. Bring back the better ingredients or ypu will loose alot of mo ey for this decision.

I have been a loyal Hellmann’s customer for more than 50 years. I started noticing that it is not as thick as it use to be. Maybe it’s just for the squeeze bottle? I don’t know, but I do not like the thin texture. It still tastes fine, but makes for a runny potato salad.

The one and only mayonnaise I buy--it is simply the very best! Have used Hellmann's 45 years and never disappointed. My Mother used this for years when I waa growing up. Keep up the great products....I would be lost my without my Hellmann's!!My Chocolate Mayonnaise cake is my favorite receipe.

Recently opened a new jar of Hellmann's and whatever is in there, it ain't Hellmann's. This is as dumb as "new" Coke. Just made potato salad with this new stuff and it's not the same. I've been using Hellmann's for over 40 years, but if this is what your future looks like, I'll be looking around for a new mayonnaise. At least come clean and tell us what you've done and why.

Hellmann's was a staple in our family for 4 generations. The recipe keeps changing for the worse. It now tastes rancid and smells stale. I come from a family of 8, we had very little and couldn't afford name brands, our brands were white boxes with black lettering, my mom even used to stretch out milk by cutting it with powdered milk. But we never compromised on mayonnaise, Hellmann's was like the ten commandments of mayo. I don't use mayo anymore and it saddens me, I used to love it, loved it so much, I would use it like dip. This is one thing that unfortunately will not be passed down to the next generation.
