So I have a really bad review to write... my fridge has been literally stinking the worst smell you could ever imagine, the kids, my husband, we just couldn’t figure out what was going on, I cleaned all the food containers, shelves, everything, and the fridge still stunk...! I couldn’t have people over at the house, BECAUSE OF MY FRIGDE! Threw everything out of the freezer as well thinking that that might be it...!NOPE! Hundreds and hundreds of dollars later tossed in the garbage, when I decided to make a tuna sandwich and grabbed the mayo, MAN OH MAN! The mayo was the grossest thing I have ever seen! It was not expired and it smelled like a dead animal! I am SO grossed out but so glad I finally found what made my fridge stink, NEVER EVER buying a Hellman’s product ever again! DO NOT put that thing in your body please!!

I have always used Hellman's since I was a kid. its different, it is soupy and no longer has that almost curdled appearance. cannot say it tastes different but the consistency makes it seem like someone left it out of the refrigerator. I've thrown away three jars because of the appearance. You say there are no changes but something changed. If I could I would give you a SCAR, (supplier corrective action request).

Hellmann's Real Mayonnaise tastes the best out of the mayonnaise options I've tried. It goes great with a variety of foods, whether I'm making a sandwich, grill cheese, egg salad or other recipes that requires a mayonnaise this is the one I reach for. The only other mayonnaise I reach for is the Japanese Kewpie mayonnaise.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was lucky enough to score a squeeze bottle of Hellman's from Influenster and tried it out immediately. We are mayo fanatics in our home and we only use Hellman's Real Mayo (the other stuff will not do). I called my kids, ages 8, 5, and 3, into the kitchen to help me make sandwiches and they were really excited because I don't like their help applying mustard or mayo to bread as they would always stick butter knives into the mustard and then into the mayo (or vice versa) and that would drive me crazy! That problem has now been eliminated! The squeeze bottle was very easy to squeeze even for the 3 year old. Just enough mayo came out and there was no mayo explosion. I recommend the squeeze bottle for sandwich making or for use as a condiment at home, at the park for picnics, or at barbeque's. It really makes for a convenient way to use Hellman's anywhere!

Just opened a new jar of Hellmans Real & 1. That delicious fragrance was not there & 2. The flavor was bad. I had another new jar & opened it because i wanted to see if the bad flavor was there too, & it was. I’ve been a huge fan of Hellmans Real all my life. What’s going on??

Staple. I won't use anything else other then Hellmann's. The flavour of it gives anything it is paired with even more flavour. I use it as my only condiment. I love dipping my Fries in it and when at a restaurant, I ask for a side of Mayo and have them make sure it's Hellmann's if they don't know.

I recently got a sample of it from Influenster with the new package design and I love it. Its perfect for picnics and bbq's. Love how the lid locks up tight. The bottle is very easy to squeeze and helps get more out so none is wasted.

The Hellmans brand is in crisis. Review after review has the same complaint as me: this is not the same product I’ve been super loyal to for decades. Hellmans is so iconic that it’s included by name in my family’s heirloom potato salad recipe passed down 3 generations. It is so runny now. Bring back the fluffy, almost jiggly thick mayonnaise. People are giving you legitimate feedback and you’re just gaslighting that the recipe hasn’t changed. Well your product/QC managers better hustle up and figure out the source of this problem because the last two to three jars I’ve purchased are off. I need thick mayonnaise for my recipes to work—goopy, liquidy does not create the right texture. It’s as if the recipe contains more water than previous. Maybe your suppliers are messing with you. Get into the stores and taste your own product for gods sake! If your jars in Englewood Cliffs are the same as years past then come to Colorado where I am if you have to, where I know it’s poor quality/changed product. Sad that you’re not taking your loyal customers seriously. If you admitted, we are getting complaints and investigating asap and taking this seriously, I would stick around. But I’m going store brand mayonnaise and not returning to Hellmans until your review section demonstrates this has been sorted out.
