This Kidde Fire Extinguisher is so nice to have around your home. I like to keep one in every room as you just never know what or when a fire may start. The fire extinguisher is good for wood, liquids, and electrical according to the box. This fire extinguisher is warrantied for 6 years and they do last a super long time (in my opinion). Kidde Fire Extinguishers gives me peace of mind now. I love the brand and I love how long they last as well. This Kidde Fire Extinguisher has a metal pin and aluminum body and comes with a bracket that has two screws that can mount to any wall or place that will accept the screws. The extinguisher itself just sits freely on the bracket so it comes off fast in an emergency. You can feel the quality of the extinguisher itself just by holding it and seeing the metal handles and the really nice easy to see pressure gauge on it. Overall: Super High Quality in my opinion and they last a really long time! They come with a 6-year limited warranty which should say all you need to know about the quality! I love the fire extinguishers that Kidde puts out and I would never use another brand. The fire extinguisher is super reliable and easy to mount just about anywhere out of the way. It is really a good thing to have in your home or appartment. This one is a perfect small size, just enough to put out a small fire if necessary. It is lightweight, comes with inspection tag and also has a plastic bracket that can be easily attached to the wall with 2 screws and then a fire extinguisher can be snapped into the bracket to hang. It is designed for small paper, wood or trash fires. Easy to use, with a quick pull of the safety ring it can be easily started by pushing on a trigger. Overall I enjoy this product and definitely makes me feel better and safer now in my own home, now that I have this fire extinguisher. It doesn't take much space on the wall either, so it will be out of the way wherever you decide to hang it. It is perfect to use at any given time and needs to be thrown away in 12 months after the first use.

Since then, I'd learned 12 years is the limit for an unused extinguisher. So, when I checked the tag to find our fire extinguisher had reached the 12-year mark, we realized we needed to get a new one. And this extinguisher is great. It is big enough for a significant household fire before it gets entirely out of hand. It uses ammonium phosphate, which works well on fires with fuel from wood, paper, fabrics, liquids, electrical fires, and more. It weighs under four pounds, so it's easy to move and to use, even in a stressful, emergency situation. To use, you just pull it off the rack (included), and grasp the large metal ring to pull the pin out. Take a breath first, if able, and, then, squeeze the handle while pointing it at the base of the fire. Quick bursts are probably best. I've once had to use an extinguisher, like this one, when a neighbor's car engine caught on fire. One press of the lever and the fire went out immediately. When the Fire Department arrived, they thanked me, saying it was exactly what was needed. Be the person the Fire Department thanks, rather than the one they console.

It saved our yard and surrounding structures by keeping a small fire from getting out of hand. This is a basic use fire extinguisher that is suitable for use on Class A (trash, wood and paper), Class B (liquids and gases) and Class C (energized electrical equipment) fires. It is made from lightweight aluminum with a tough nylon valve assembly. It is fitted with a pressure gauge that shows the status of how much is left in the unit. The Kidde basic use fire extinguisher also includes an easy-to-pull safety pin and a clear instruction label on the front. You can hang it on your wall, or attach it to your boat or vehicle with the mount that is included. Every house, car and boat needs to have a fire extinguisher. We've had to use one when the lawnmower caught fire and set the grass a blaze. I'm very glad we had one handy. I trust the Kidde brand and have other fire extinguishers from the same brand in our house and vehicles. You never know when you will need one so it is always good to have one around. I highly recommend this for everyone for their cars, boats, and homes. Hopefully we will never need to use one again but if we do, at least I can feel secure knowing this one will work.

In response to an email advertisement from Walmart, with a really attractive price, I purchased 2 of these extinguishers to replace the identical Kidde units I had installed in my garage 9 years ago, without checking out the current units. When I went to replace them with the new units, I discovered that the 9 year old units were both still in the “green” and according to information on Kidde's Web site, they are still functional. I think that this speaks very well for these extinguishers. I left the old units in place and just added the new units in other accessible locations. I hope I will never need to use these extinguishers, but I feel confident that they will work if I ever need them.

It has a 6 year warranty. It is a dry chemical fire extinguisher. It has a pressure gauge to allow for immediate pressure check. Must replace after 12 years or first use. I definitely recommend this to have in your home because you never know when something could happen. It is easy to use.

This a great size for small spaces. It's lightweight for the most part. Granted it's weight is 2.5lbs, but it feels a bit heavier. Perhaps a couple pounds more. The extinguisher comes with a plastic wall mount. Which is easy to place into the wall. This product is sturdy and put together nicely. You csn use it on different types of fires. It empties within 10 seconds.

It is a good size and comes with clear and easy to follow instructions. I read the easy to read instructions and tested it. It was easy to use, lightweight, only 2.5 pounds and can be mounted. It is small and thin, great to store in my kitchen and have on hand for an emergency. It is bright red, easy to identify and I am so happy to have it and recommend it.
