Bought these for a housewarming gift. One for the kitchen/garage areas and one downstairs by the fireplace.

Purchased them and a month later one of the extinguishers read as bad. I will purchase extinguishers from somewhere else next time.

What can I say? They're fire extinguishers, I hope I don't have to use them. Nice size with mounting brackets. Would give them a five star, but they can't be tested.

In response to an email advertisement from Walmart, with a really attractive price, I purchased 2 of these extinguishers to replace the identical Kidde units I had installed in my garage 9 years ago, without checking out the current units. When I went to replace them with the new units, I discovered that the 9 year old units were both still in the “green” and according to information on Kidde's Web site, they are still functional. I think that this speaks very well for these extinguishers. I left the old units in place and just added the new units in other accessible locations. I hope I will never need to use these extinguishers, but I feel confident that they will work if I ever need them.

They arrived with both canisters still full (in the green). Both of the fire extinguishers had the pins missing (they were in the bottom of the box) It looked like the pins were to protect it from being accidentally discharged, but the safety zip tie was still in tact and the canisters looked to be fine. I haven't had to use them so hopefully they will be fine.

I bought these today and if I would have known the sale was ending today I would have bought another pack. These are nice to have in case you need it. Hopefully I never do and the same to everyone else who has them for their homes. I will eventually get another pack, so I can put it in my camper, and have the other one as a backup.

Because there are different types of fire extinguisher used for various types of fires, I went to a government website to verify the specific ratings for fire extinguishers. After unboxing and studying this fire extinguisher it is UL ABC rated for use with ordinary materials like cloth, wood, combustible flammable liquids like grease, gasoline, oil, oil-based paints, paper, electrical equipment like appliances, tools, or other equipment that is plugged in. It is NOT D rated for use with flammable metals and NOT K rated for use with vegetable oils, animal oils and fats in cooking appliances. It has a easy to read pressure indicator displaying green for full 100 psi and red for empty. It is in the traditional red tank with a black handle with a pull pin, aluminum cylinder and metal valve assembly with a 6 year warranty. I have not personally used this fire extinguisher however I have been using Kidde products in my home for years and it's a great company. It comes with easy to follow instructions to use on the front of the tank and also comes with a instructions included in the box. There is a plastic wall hanger mount included.

I now have two for each level of my home and feel safer because of them. This device is for most basic fires that might occur in m your home. It comes with a hanging bracket so it may be easily accessible and is easy to remove from the hanger so it may be put into use quickly and easily. Luckily, I have have not needed to use it and hope I never do.

Small, compact, slim fire extinguishers. Not the same size as the one you might see in a school classroom or gas station, but its nice because its easier to store its small size. Havnt use it though, hopefully wouldnt have to use it, knock on wood, fingers cross! Nice knowing i have it just in case though
