Kidde Twin Pack Fire Extinguisher, Rated 1A10BC

I recently purcased a house and need to get a couple of fire extinguishers. This is a great deal for a well known brand.

Great Product

Recently had to use my old kidde extinguisher to put out an oven fire.  Worked perfectly so I replaced it that day.

It’s a fire extinguisher.   Hopefully it’s works when I need it.   But at least it is available if I do need it!

Small enough to store under the sink

I was happy I got these pair, but after an small and scary fire incident, the first one I tried to use, it failed. I am disappointed, surprised and unhappy with this product failure.

Failed to work!

What can I say? They're fire extinguishers, I hope I don't have to use them. Nice size with mounting brackets.  Would give them a five star, but they can't be tested.

These are disposable one time use .     It should say that in the description
Other type is rechargeable. ..   also kidde has had a recall on some of these with the plastic screw in head

Two types

Packages arrived with pins already pulled, extinguishers had expended inside the boxes with yellow powder. Ordered 4 and only one was operational, one was even missing altogether. The replacements had same issues. Do not order online!

These came in a box with white powder leaking out. We are not sure if this was due to the delivery process or the fire extinguishers themselves. 
I would not recommend these especially because they are meant to keep you safe in case of a fire, because they obviously will not work or hold up. Wish I could have a better review but not with this item.

Defective

I keep extinguishers in everything with an engine, 3 in the garage, 2 in the kitchen (one of these and a Type K), and one by every door.  I haven't had to use one in the house, but have used them several times for vehicles/engines/other fires, and just for practice and teaching others.   If the gauge gets too low, use it to practice/teach.  They still work, just don't reach as far.  DO Remember to replace it!
I say this to show that I'm certainly not an expert, but I do have some experience with these devices.  I used to only buy the refillable type, but nowadays the disposables are much more cost effective.  
These Kiddies are easy to use, have a decent mounting bracket that is easy to install, and in my experience have a reliable gauge to determine when they need to be replaced.
It would be difficult to have too many.  For the money, I would highly recommend these ABC extinguishers.
