[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Mach3 is a great razor. My face felt smooth and stubble free every time I shaved. Many times after I shave I get redness and irritated skin, but not with this razor. I love how the razor doesn’t dull quickly causing hairs to get pulled. This is a great product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette Mach3 provided a very good shave, however to achieve a really close shave I had to go over the same spots multiple times. To its credit the lubrication strip allowed me to do multiple passes without any noticeable redness or chafing. The feel of the razor seemed a bit ‘light’ but that could be due to me being used to a much sturdier and heavy razor. As for the longevity of the blades, I have used it five times so far and the fifth shave seemed to do just as good a job as the first. Overall the Mach3 provided as good as or slightly better shave then comparable three blade razors.

I love the moisturized strips that help lubricate the skin for the three blades. It leaves my skin feeling nice and smooth. The blades last a while. If you’re in the market for a new razor, definitely give this one a chance!

These razors have been the ones I have used since I was 15 and started shaving. They were fine and lasted a few shaves up until the lubrication strip was 'upgraded' now they last not even one before just sliding around my face and not cutting the hair, while giving me atrocious razor burn. Bring back the old lubrication strips!

For comfort and closeness of shave I'd rate this nearly as high as my favorite four blade refillable razor and higher than the better quality disposable razors that are available. The handle is comfortable to hold. I didn't nick myself at all but I rarely do any more with any razor. It glides easily over my face. I would definitely recommend the Gillette Mach3 razor and would consider purchasing it in the future if I would get a better deal on it than my favorite four blade refillable razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used a lot of these multi blade razors and I have to say the Gillette Mach 3 is definitely my favorite. I’ve been able to get a lot of shaves out of it and it usually only takes one pass for a nice close shave. If you want a close shave and a long lasting blade I highly recommend this razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used the Mach 3 years ago but have been using some of the club blades for the past few years. Trying this razor and blade again since they are supposed to last a long time and be better. I did find it provided a good clean smooth shave, and found no issues with clogging. I have fairly thin hair and usually use a 4 blade so the fact there was such space between each blade was surprising, I think that someone that has issues with thick coarse beard and clogging of the razor would really benefit from this blade. I did like the shave, for the razor it self it felt really light and dainty I am used to a much heavier handle and felt like I didn't have the same control I usually do. It seems the blades and handle are more like a disposable than something I would buy for everyday use. matching it up to a club blade side by side shows why it feels so light, it has much less material to it and if the price is right I think I may use these for travel rather than take my more hefty handle and blades. all in all its a decent razor but missed having an edger single grooming blade on it as well felt a bit to light and cheap for my everyday use taste .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I finally got a enough hair to try out this Mach 3, I was skeptical about how it would do. I was always under the impression of the more blades I have the better the results I would get. So I put this one to the test on my head and face to see how it would do. Well, I was totally surprised with the results I got as well as how easy it was to use. Meaning that, when I've used razors that have more blades, I spent probably more time trying to clean out the hairs stuck between the blades than I did on the actual shaving. With this one, a couple twists under some running water and it was clean and clear and back to the job. This really reduced my shaving time which was great. I also wanted to see how well the lubricating strip worked, so on the left side of my beard I used shaving cream and on the right just water and the lubricating strip. This brought about another surprise result as after I finished, the side with just water and the strip felt less sensitive to the touch than the side with the shaving cream. It also felt like it gave a closer shave with a smoother feel. As long as I kept my face and the razor wet, it slid across my beard rather easily and didn't feel like it was pulling the hairs instead of cutting them. The only drawbacks that I would mention is that the lubricating strip works well but after 1 shave of my head and face, it looks like all of the lubrication may be gone. I also would say that it is not the best for straight lines. As the head has no locking mechanism, it is quite difficult to do any edging lines of any kind. I like this 3 blade razor and the job it did on my head and how comfortable it left my face. I also made it through with no cuts or nicks anywhere! I would have to say that this Mach3 has changed my ideas that having 4 or more blades is better.

As a woman, I have used the Mach 3 razor for over 10 years. I had always loved the product and could even shave small areas without shaving cream if needed. I always had a great shave without issues. But with these 'new and improved" razor heads, the shave is absolutely terrible. Even with shaving cream I have cut myself so many times and the shave is terrible. I've been getting terrible razor burn, itchiness, ingrown hairs whereas I never had those things before. I had always chosen the true Mach 3 cartridges as they were always the best, now they barely compare to the generic brands. As many of the other recent commenters, I will be buying another brand of razor and using that since these new blades are unusable. I'm hoping this change is reversed as it is not a good one and has completely ruined the product. I'm hoping you will take these reviews into consideration and go back to the product that everyone likes.
