I bought the razor today (08/20) and was surprised at how great of a shake I got. I absolutely love this razor. I am a college student at UCF and will be buying these razors more often. I didn’t even feel the razor shave and left me super smooth, one of the best shaves I’ve ever experienced. I also bought the shave gel for the fusion 5 and absolutely loved the experience! But my only question is have long does the lubrication strip last before I have to replace the razor?

I use the Fusion more than any other razor - I find it doesn't knick or chafe like so many others and the blades last quite a while...My only issue is the price. It's very high and wish it would drop a little. Tried others, not even close to this blade.

These replacement cartridges have always been my favorites, and, in my opinion, never improved upon. Just the perfect combination of edge, metal and lubrication which never fails to give me the closest shave that I believe possible. Makes shaving bearable for me and for my money, these blades are simply the best!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this razor for free as a Bzzagent. So I gave it some time and used it. I was truly skeptical because of all the hype but this really is an awesome razor! Gives a close shave and does not give me razor burn. I even feel like I need to shave less often. Weird? Now all I have to do is keep it away from my wife. :)

A friend gave me one and it came with a blade cartridge refill. I used for the 1st time today and I'm very impressed. I gotta close smooth shave beard lined up perfect. Literally best shave and razor I've had in my whole 20 years of shaving. I started shaving at 15 yrs old I'm now 35 years old and nothing has came close to the shaving power ofGillette fusion 5!

Blade isn't sharp to give a smooth shave even in the first shave. I had purchased this 3 times and the third time I purchased is the just not acceptable from Gilette. I bought it for me and my Son and both have not had a good shave without running the razor twice the effort and time. This wasn't the case for me when the first time I bought, and it gave multiple shaves and clean. the last time I bought from Sam's club is the worst purchase. I am thinking of changing the brand.

The fusion is a razor that has no equal. Superior comfort, sturdy construction, and attention to detail separate this razor from the rest. I usually give them out for birthday or Christmas presents when possible. Thanks Gillette for making the best razor on the market!

"Upgraded" from the Mach 3 Turbo. Dear Turbo, I will never doubt you again. The blade on the Fusion doesn't give at all. Too stiff. So if your face is the shaped like the Tin Man, you're all set. Otherwise, it's a dreadfully uncomfortable contortion trying to maneuver this rigid contraption around Adam's apples and so forth. Did not like.

I used these blades for years. I could get a good months worth out of these blades until they changed them. They now break down in a week and scratch your face up! They did this on purpose thinking you will replace blades more and Gillette makes more money. Done with your product.

Horrible blades, rip off. I use the edge shaving cream. I used to have the ones with more blades but unfortunately switched to these. They hurt even on the first time that you use them. I will have to buy different ones. My face has all kinds of red burns and I easily cut my neck or face each time. I throw out after two shaves. I have to use electric blade around nose and mouth area, because the blade hurts so badly. I live in a humid climate and make sure that my face is warm and moist.
