I started shaving 55 years ago when you used one blade for one shave. Thankfully, today's blades last for more shaves then that. The Fusion blades, if kept dry when not in use, will last me for 56 shaves. Although the last ten or so shaves are not all that comfortable, the result is still an acceptable shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use disposable razor cartridges to shave both my head and face multiple times per week. This high frequency, Has made me hesitant to try the Gillette Fusion because the cartridge refills carry such a high price point. I recently received a Fusion razor with an additional cartridge and decided to give it a shot. The overall shaving experience with the Fusion was great. I was able to easily and comfortably give myself a close smooth shave on both my head and face. The cartridge head has just the right range of motion that it makes the entire experience easy, with little to no need to go back over the usually hard to reach spots. My hair is fairly coarse and initially the Fusion cartridge gave me one of the best shaves that I have ever received. I was able to shave my head twice and face three times over the course of five days with the same cartridge before needing to replace it. By that last shave, the medicated strip is pretty worn out and blades have dulled substantially. The Gillette Fusion is a great overall product that I plan to continue to use regularly. The cartridges are not cheap but they do deliver a great shave and they also last for a reasonable amount of time. This going to be my go to razor from here on out,

I like the manual fusion more than any razor I've ever tried. I don't see the point in switching to a power model because the manual is more cost effective and gives me everything I want. I get a quick, smooth shave every time and really long life out of each blade.

I have been a life-long patron of Gillette shaving products - from my very 1st shave when I was a boy. I have always been VERY satisfied with Gillette razors and resonated with the slogan from years past - "Gillette, the best a man can get!". A work colleague recently suggested a more affordable alternative that he had been using - Harry's Shave Club (the one with the orange handle). Although the handle felt nice and balanced, the blades were not as high quality as I had come to appreciate with Gillette products. In fact, Gillette disposable 2 blade razors felt smoother on my face after 3-4 shaves than this Harry's 5 blade razor did on the 1st! I shave every morning, and Gillette products provide the highest caliber shave around - giving me confidence in my appearance and performance.

Do not buy blades they are not Gillette five fusion blades. I would have given it no stars but it wouldn’t let me write a review. No precision trimmer as advertised and should be on blade. No packaging as shown. No Gillette markings on blades and cartridge container like on real Gillette five blades.

I really wanted to like this razor because I appreciate it when a company tries to improve the product. I liked the idea of the single blade on the back to help shave under the nose but seriously- has anyone in product development tried to hold this razor. If I don't hold it in exactly one position, it slips from my hand - I will be going back to my trusty Mach 3 - no difficulty holding that razor in multiple positions. I don't know if it is not designed with left handed people in mind - but when I hold it naturally like a tool - it immediately wants to twist in my grip, Seems slightly better in right hand - but I'm a lefty. I don't want to have to hold it in a fist. Better research next time please.

I liked those cartridges as represented since I’ve used them for a long time but what I’ve revived-I believe- are duplicates but not the real ones even the packing is different, each 4 categories were packed separately and the quality wasn’t good. It wasn’t hard to notice the difference since I used Gillette fusion 5 -and fusion 5 power- for a long time.

I purchased Gillette Fusion5 4 Nos of Cartridges. ( Out of the 4 Cartridges one of them does not get attached to Handle and one of them Comes out During Shaving ) I am using Gillette Fusion since it's introduction into the Market. I am very badly disappointed )

Well if you are tired of spending money like I'am look no more. I found the Gillette fusion razor that is worth every penny. Thanx to bzzagent I was able to test it out before I purchase it. It works wonders now run and go get one for yourself or the special man in your life. You can thank me later.

Something changed. I’ve been using the Fusion blade for years and it consistently provided the smoothest, closest, most comfortable shave on the mass market. The new heads that have been slowly rolling out (the ones with the smaller orange bottom strip with holes) are terrible. I thought I was going crazy that I had 2 days worth of visible, itchy stubble the day after shaving (I usually can go 3 days without shaving with the original Fusion blade), until I looked online and am seeing the same complaints from hundreds of users. I still have one of the original blades. I tried them two shaves back to back and the original produces a profoundly better, longer last shave. You screwed up Gillette and need to bring back the old blade. Whatever you did to inevitably cost cut this revised blade was a disaster. It’s not even close.
