Bought these beans today 7/6/2022 and they taste and smell like there is a chemical in them. Almost plastic like flavor and smell. Not surprised after reading all the other reviews. Worst refried beans I have ever had hands down, yuck!

Use to eat this all the time decades ago. Tried this week again. So disgusting. Both my boyfriend and I got sick. Tastes like iron and burnt metal and rotting food

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The old El Paso refried beans are very flavorful and add a great consistency to tacos! The only thing I dislike is pricing. Since old El Paso is the most popular I find prices are fairly high.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this. I always buy and microwave it. I add to a soft shell taco then place a hard shell taco over it and add meat and toppings.

They won’t let me download a picture the cans are so dented. I have had this problem before and have complained and apparently it doesn’t do any good. I wouldn’t buy any canned goods from sam’s any more.
