Spend the extra money. Get the pre-sharpened pencils. Back to school time is rough enough. Don’t add sore fingers to the mix. Trust me. After sharpening 48 pencils, you’ll regret the blisters in your fingers- and wish you’d spent the extra couple of bucks for the presharpened ones.

the lead was not as dark as I wanted

Very pleased with this product...writes well... dark enough to see writing ...eraser lasts quite a while...

These are good solid pencils. Nothing fancy. Made well and sharpen well. Other colors would be nice.
