This is the ONLY pencil you should ever buy and probably why teachers specify parents purchase Ticonderoga pencils on school supply lists. They are the BEST. They are a quality pencil and reasonably priced. Never will I purchase any other brand.

the type and brand of pencials are amazing. i usually like these pencials and they are my favorite. however when i receive them there were 3 pencials missing. eitherway they are good pencils

Teachers always specifically ask for these pencils because they write smoother and darker than other no.2 pencils. That being said, they are prohibitively expensive for many parents who live paycheck to paycheck when there ARE cheaper, just as smooth writing and darker than lead, options. Do I recommend them if you have the money? Yes. Should public school teachers ask their students’ parents to purchase these?

My grandson's teacher required these for 4th grade. I was able to get an amazing deal last year. These were a pretty good deal and were in stock at my store. The last ones I bought were really great quality. We will see how these are when school starts.

Ticonderoga %232 is a classic back to school must have and this brand is iconic for good reason, less than 20cents per pencil but they outperform all other brands for quality. They sharpen evenly to the most precise point and the line is dark and smooth. The eraser doesn't tear or smudge the paper. They spark joy while using them any writing chore that normally would be endured becomes a pleasure to be anticipated. When you nibble on them the wood is the perfect amount of al dente, the mouth feel is satisfying. They make the best hair sticks for creating spur of the moment messy buns (with a designer %232 logo). You will feel superior to all other humans who do not have the name brand pencil because they claim it is too expensive. Too expensive? Nonsense, they cost less than $5 dollars for 24 pencils and i got them for $4.47 for TWENTY FOUR PERFECT PENCILS... you do the math ... here, use my perfect pencil. You're Welcome.

I got everything: the name brand and through the school list at a discount! I hope my granddaughter's school got some extra credit or supplies! I use to each and teachers use out some of their small salaries to pay for supplies and other things they think their students need and can't afford!
