I've used this sugar for years, usually buying the 2# box at the grocers before I found this. I like the added molasses flavor in my coffee. This 6# bag is much cheaper per pound, and it is large enough that I can dip my sugar bowl into it and fill the bowl without spilling anything.

I buy this product primarily to add to my hot tea. I had tried it at a tearoom. I found it “added” something more than regular granulated sugar than just sweetness. More of a molasses/brown sugar flavor. The term “raw” is kind of misleading. I read that “raw” sugar is not permitted to be used/sold in the US. This has been processed somewhat but certainly not to the point of granulated or superfine sugar. The granules are much larger requiring that you stir it in a bit more in your hot tea. I’ve not tried it with cold tea. It is also good to add to the top of a pie crust or scones to give them a little crunch to their texture.

Turbinado is the best sugar ever. I use it instead of white sugar any chance I get, but it doesn't work well in all recipes. As far as sugar goes, it's the healthiest since it has a higher concentration of molasses which is mineral rich. I've seen four pound bags in grocery stores, but seven pounds and at this price, is a great deal.

No sugar is better than Raw sugar. The taste isn't as sweet than commercial white sugar, but this is better tasting. A word of caution: if it is used in recipes you may need to adjust the amount of raw sugar used. It also make homemade lemonade a golden color, but the taste is great!

I love this Sugar in the Raw. I buy it in bulk at Sam's all the time and it's always fresh tasting. I use it primarily in coffee since it melts it really well, but I also use it in other drinks when I don't mind little chucks of sugar. I haven't baked with it.

I first learned about Sugar in the Raw Natural Cane Turbinado Sugar when I lived on the north coast of California, 2003 - 2010. I love it! And to now be able to purchase a 6-lb bag of it and have it delivered, that's the best. This sugar enriches my coffee experience! I can no longer use regular, white sugar in my coffee anymore. Thank you, Sam's Club, for keeping Sugar in the Raw on your shelves. I am a happy customer! And I would definitely recommend this product to friends and family (I already have)!

Couldn't find it in the club, or the other warehouse club across the street. My local grocery stores were much more expensive per pound. Then, I thought to look online. Got the big bag for the same price that I used to get it in the club, and delivery was free with our Plus membership. We use this in our coffee on the recommendation of our doctor to avoid the refined white sugar.

I primarily use this sugar in sugar bowl for my morning coffee. It has a richer flavor than plain white sugar because they didn't take all of the molasses out. I am also a baker and the raw sugar is lovely sprinkled on top of a pie crust, coffee cake or cookies. The crystals are a bit larger than regular white sugar and is a golden color.

Everything has changed. This sugar is good for baking, coffee, or whatever you want to sweeten. It appears different than last year though when I changed from the packets to the bag. It will start to stick together, so use an airtight container; that's what is different from last year.

My husband and I love this sugar. It is a wonderful buy at Sam's. It tastes like molasses is in it. We try to cut back on sugar all we can but use only this kind. It is less processed and not bleached like white sugar. It is just as sweet as white sugar but the taste of this sugar adds to your baked goods or oatmeal. We try to get away from processed foods.
