This is our go-to brand of refried beans. They have a fresher taste than other brands and the color is better (not so grey). Frequently, Sam's price is better than other places.

We've tried a variety of Refried Beans and in our opinion Rosarita is consistently the best. Having at one time managed a number of Taco Bells where we bought beans by the sack, cleaned them, pressure cooked them and then refried them ( don't think they do that any more ). Rosarita is the only brand that comes close to what we made from scratch. With Sam's prices and being able to have them delivered to our door, I'd never go through all that work again. Rosarita is great.

The taste is superior and is identical to the homemade refried beans my spouse made when we lived in Peru. All delicious and none of the fat I found in other canned refried beans. We open a can at least once a week and we are never disappointed. We always buy the 8-count package as a staple for the pantry.

I love these beans but it's like EVERYTHING CANNED from Sam's club is dented so I cannot recommend with a clear conscious. I grew up taught not to buy dented cans because of the risk of food poisoning. Even the boxes are falling apart from EVERYTHING CANNED.
