Very tastey, I enjoy eating them. However I am dispointed the multi damaged cans that I recived.

4 of the cans had leaked in the box. They were unsafe to eat.

Found a clump of black mixed in the beans. Upon inspection, it shredded apart like meat, but I have no idea what it was - as there isn't supposed to be meat in this, especially not black. I threw the whole case away and used whole beans instead

EVERY can dented; two of them not salvageable. Second time getting a full case of smashed canned goods from Sam's Club. The shipping packaging was intact and undamaged. Do better, Sam.

Poor packaging as every can arrived dented. This item is only available online so packaging should be better. I will start buying at local grocery and pay more for cans that aren't damaged. :(

Has the recipe changed? The quality has definitely gone way down hill. The beans are now watery and have a nasty tin can taste to them. I am really disappointed as these used to be my favorite canned refried bean.

These beans are always good with a little rice or wrapped up in tortillas. I just finely chop some garlic and saute it in a little bacon grease, then throw in the refried beans and yummy. The entire family enjoys that.

This is our go-to brand of refried beans. They have a fresher taste than other brands and the color is better (not so grey). Frequently, Sam's price is better than other places.
