Second time I had them send it to me in a better box but still no packing around it so all but one can was damaged this time

Quick and easy heat up on the stove. Great when in a hurry. The only thing was that every can I got was really dented

My order was damaged all of the cans were crushed all of the stuff in that box was messed up making me think that the box was thrown this my second order that came destroyed it's very frustrating it still has not be refunded or replaced

The box was damaged and opened. Every can was damaged on different sides. The warehouse guy grabbed every dented can and shipped them to my house. Refunded order.

The only brand we will buy. So great for everything you can imagine; smeared on top of a tortilla and topped with grated cheese and then gently fried for a super and quick cheese and bean quesadilla; used to make a dip; heated by themselves to eat as a side dish; you get the picture.

We always buy this brand of refried beans. They are delicious and easy to prepare for any Mexican meal. I simply open the can, scoop the beans out into a saucepan, sprinkle Fiesta Cheese Blend on top and sometimes add a little salsa. I put the lid on and set the stove burner to low. I can then finish preparing my main dishes and serve it all at the same time. The beans are hot, with cheese melted on top.. very tasty.

Let's be real. Refried beans are a boring thing to rate, but I will say, living in Texas and having a lot of TexMex inspired flavors in our life, this item fits in well. A case of 8 cans will help feed a family of 4 for a week or perhaps more. Don't gloss over the utility of refried beans, they are a fantastic base of a lot of tasty meals. Use them with Chorizo and eggs for a supreme breakfast taco, use enchilada sauce and cheese for an easy and quick burrito for plenty. Refried beans are a foundation for many recipes including pupusas, Huevos Rancheros, Tostados, bean burritos and more. One can will feed 3 to 4 people, especially if you can dress the meals out with other proteins, fresh veggies like sweet or hot peppers, thinly shredded cabbage, celery and/or carrots and onions. Refried beans will thicken a soup, be a staple in burritos and breakfast tacos, hummus and even more. Refried beans are an overlooked protein staple if you are building preps or just want quick-made meals when people show up and surprise you.

The contents are all liquid like. They seem to have changed their processing of these beans. Slightly different flavor as well. I have been buying this brand for years and years. Too bad as they used to be my favorite. I just threw away three cases minus 5 cans from the cases. All cases were identical with contents.
