We have it close to our router so haven't experienced connectivity issues like others. I like it so that if I'm working late I can put a light on remotely and we have it on a light we had always wanted to switch to a dimmer. Great if you're traveling and want to make it look like someone is home as well. My husband was able to install in 10 minutes.

Downloaded the app and setup the voice assist. Then added to my Alexa. I love that it makes any bulb smart without using a smart plug. It's got more features than I'm currently using but I'm looking forward to setting up the scheduling and being able to control more than one room with this smart switch. Great value, great features, great quality as always from GE! I highly recommend this product. Id rate it higher than 5 stars if I could.

I used an electrician (my neighbor) to install which took all of 5-10mins. I will be purchasing more to add to more rooms throughout the house. I have always loved dimmers because sometimes I don't want the light all the way on, but also don't want to be in the dark. This GE dimmer provides that healthy medium. High Recommend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this light switch. The l GE C by GE Dimmer Smart Switch has , Bluetoot, WiFi, Alexa and Google Home Compatible without a hub!! I got this because when I am laying in bed with my dog, if I get out of bed to turn the lights off then she is going to jump out too… plus it's just annoying to get out of bed at night to turn the lights off. So I saw this and had to give it a try. I had my brother help me with the installation since he has the same one at his house, it didn't take long at all and was pretty simple! Once it was placed in position I connected it to my wifi & Alexa and said Alexa turn off the lights, and she did! It's the coolest thing ever.. I mean why wouldn't you get this? It's awesome! It's also really great for older people who have trouble getting in and out of bed or need the light on when they get out of bed in the middle of the night… it's like the modern version of the clap on clap off lights but way cooler and more sophisticated!

I like that I can make this a 3 way switch just by adding another one of these same switches. I can dim or brighten my lights using the app and that makes my life so much easier!

Installation is pretty standard; if you've done this before it's not complicated. An electrician can do this job in about eight minutes. The dimming feature is pretty good. I use this unit with Alexa and it does the job. A good value.
