I am getting a bit older so it my have taken me a little longer than usual to get the new dimmer installed and set up but it is well worth. you can set up schedules for when the lights turn on off and you can mix them up so no one can figure out the pattern. You can control multiple switches together. You can control lights away from home from your home. And you can use your voice to turn lights off and on. Pretty trick little set up.

I also love being able to control the lights in my house that don't allow for a smart bulb. And it works better than they do, honestly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The TryIt Sampling Community sent me a GE C by GE Dimmer Smart Switch, Neutral Wire Required, Bluetooth and 2.4 GHz WiFi, Alexa and Google Home Compatible without a Hub to install, use, and review. My son-in-law installed the switch as I know nothing about electricity. Once in, I was amazed at how modern and easy to use it is. The best part is that you can set up a schedule for use to both save on electricity and money. GE never disappoints and that includes this one! I highly recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Once you unscrew the switch to the, it's only a few wires so it's easier than expected. I like to leave a light on at night so potential burglars think someone's home. I use the app to set a schedule so it's only on from 1am - 5am. Before this app, I had to turn on my light when I went to bed and turned it off if I remembered in the morning, so this saves energy.

Though it took some playing with to get it completely off the first few times a small adjustment had it working just fine.

Downloaded the app and setup the voice assist. Then added to my Alexa. I love that it makes any bulb smart without using a smart plug. It's got more features than I'm currently using but I'm looking forward to setting up the scheduling and being able to control more than one room with this smart switch. Great value, great features, great quality as always from GE! I highly recommend this product. Id rate it higher than 5 stars if I could.

This is definitely a great choice for those of us that don't have neutral wire, older houses etc. I am loving just turning things off right from my phone after a long night at work relaxing in bed

It is by a brand that I know and use so I am looking forward to its benefits. I like that I can dim my lights when using the app or smart devices when away from home, especially when coming home late or for pets.Plus it works with all light bulbs even ordinary bulbs. The dimmer makes it easy to find the right light setting.

The installation was fairly straight forward, as any switch requires the same connections. The software is OK. Connection took me a few tries, I connected it to Google home and tested the same with Alexa. Once enabled, it works great. Any change in wifi or something that requiers resetting the switch is a bit of a pain but otherwise, works quite well.
