DO NOT BUY THIS MOP!!! I was so excited to use it but shortly after my dog looked like she went i to battle with a hornets nest! Apparently there is some sort of antibacterial solution in the mop head! Two benadryl and cold bath were given, pictures do not do it justice.

It's so much easier when you have the right tool, and THIS is so right! I read some negative reviews before purchasing. I just can't figure out how the buckets were broken. After trying out the first mop and bucket I bought a second set for the upstairs. It's a strong, well made and easy to use solution to the mopping day blues. I'm getting rid of the two B___ mops that I've been using for several years. They just push the ickiness around. I just use vinegar and water instead of pricey bottles of cleaner. Spin, mop and repeat. Just that simple.

I cannot believe this mop system got any negative reviews at all! I can only think it was due to user error. As far as the handle loosening you need only turn it to the right to lock it into place and it DOES lock in nicely. To fully wring out the mop you need to place it into the spinner so that the little "knob"in the middle of the spinner goes up into the middle of the mop head. It works perfectly and is way cheaper than the Hurri**** mop and better made also. The only thing better would be if it came with someone to actually do the mopping for you!

I've bought some but end up doing what I've always done....get down on my hands and knees with a large rag and a bucket of water the same way my mother and sister does. Needless to say it’s a very tedious job. I live alone so if I spill something I get it up immediately as I’m a little bit of an excessively orderly person. I decided to try the O Cedar Easy Wring Spin Mop and Bucket and was like...where have you been all my life? Obviously, the first time I put the mop in the bucket then spun it I didn’t spin enough because my floor was pretty wet so duh…the second time I figured out to spin more. I quickly figured out the more you spin the dryer the mop gets. I love that the handle is adjustable because we’re all different heights and what works for one will work for another with a quick adjustment. I filled the bucket to the “max” line indicated inside the bucket so no trouble with any water splashing around. You simply swash the mop around in the bucket of water with your choice of cleaner, lift the mop up and into the spinner, use your foot to spin the mop to your desired wetness or dryness and off you go. It picks up virtually all lent, dust, dirt or anything you have on your floor. I always vacuum before I mop so it’s mostly for dirt, grime and dust in my case. I don’t want to have hair all in the mop head and have to clean that out. Yuk! I did have to find the right way to put the mop head on the floor, which was quickly figured out, so that the actual mop head is on the floor and not the plastic. I LOVE this thing and have already told my Mother and sister they need one!!! Also, I have to say that I was very impressed by O Cedar, the company. There was a lengthy personal hand written “Thank You” card with my name and signed by a real person saying in part “Thank you from all of us here at O-Cedar” and “Please enjoy the free scrounges included and no review necessary”. It was something like you’d get from a family or friend thanking you for a gift. I was VERY impressed since customer service isn’t what it used to be. I believe me and my O-Cedar mop will be longtime friends. !

I like the fact that it wrings the mop nicely so that you don't have to wait forever for the floor to dry. It gets into the corners easily and you don't have to get your hands wet by wringing the mop. My husband asked me if he could use it because it looked so easy -- love having him help me mop the kitchen floor. We received this item through the Walmart Spark Review. Came in handy. Just installed wood panel on the floor. Needed to pick up the dust that was left after clearly the borders. Use warm water without detergent the mop the wood panel on the floor. Did a great job. Easy to drain the water from the mop. Can wait to use for the whole apartment after I vaccum to floors.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the bucket and the feature to wring out the mop!! But the mop handle is too short. I mopped the kitchen floors and had to bend over to mop. I wanted to love it but maybe I can get a different mop for it.

This mop does seem to be well made. The bucket also seems pretty sturdy. The spinning action, not so much. I was hoping it would actually spin the water out but it still is pretty wet even after stepping on the peddle four or five times. It also doesn't stay flat on the floor when you push it, you got to keep adjusting it. I wouldn't buy it again.

I have all kinds of flooring in my home, from linoleum in the kitchen to hardwood in the living room to tile in bathrooms, and one this for sure, this mop gets the dirt off any type of flooring! I love the fact that it comes with a bucket that has got a spinning ring inside of it so that way you can easily place the mop head into the spinning ring and give it a good spin or gentle spin, depending on what surface you are trying to mop. For hardwood flooring it is best to spin the mop all the way until it is just gently damp, for linoleum and tile it can be a little on a wet side just to get all the dirt off and mop it for the second time with mop being damp. I absolutely love the feature of the spinning! It is amazing, no more getting my hands all wet and dirty with a dirty water, just place the mop in the bucket, get it wet in water and cleaning solution, then spin it in the spinning ring of the bucket! It doesn't leave any mess on the floors either, at first I thought that it would splatter water everywhere while spinning it, but it does not! Another fantastic feature of this product is an extendable mop handle that expends up to 48 inches so that cleaning under the furniture and kitchen table becomes a breeze! The mop head can be removed and washed, also when it gets some cleaning "miles" on it it can be replaced with a replacement mop head that can be purchased online at Walmart site! How easy is that? I am in love with this mop, having pets in the house it is a constant necessity to keep the floors clean and this product delivers great results even in every single corner of the room since the mop head has got a rounded triangle shape! Cleaning the floors is finally a mess free chore! I recommend this product to anyone who has any type of hard flooring (tile, hardwood floors, linoleum, etc), trust me your mopping experience will get to the next level where it becomes easy, fast, mess free and with sparkling clean floors.

I recently broke my right wrist of my dominant hand and doing many household tasks have been a challenge. I purchased the spin mop since there is no wringing involved. I could not use my old mop due to the lack of strength and mobility of my right hand at this time. The spin mop was easy to assemble and use. I love my spin mop. The adjustable handle could be a little longer otherwise, it has truly been a blessing for me.
