In 2012 when I was diagnosed with cancer the oncology nursing staff recommended I drink Boost High Protein while I was receiving chemotherapy. I ate almost nothing as I didn’t have an appetite. I did however drink Boost High Protein and it was a tremendous help. My excellent experience led me to continue drinking it daily and I have been for 10 years. Rich Chocolate and Vanilla are my favorite flavors. The taste is great.

The stress of going over two months before getting a diagnosis as to what was causing my excruciating pain caused me to lose a lot of weight, weight that I didn't need to lose to begin with. Doctors told me that I needed to gain back weight quick to help my recovery. I have been drinking 4 a day and the weight is coming back in large part thanks to the Boost. The flavor is so good that I see myself drinking these long past the time I gain back all the weight I had lost.

I drink one every day in order to get the protein and vitamins I usually lack elsewhere. I've tried many different products and this is by far the best tasting product out there; it also provides the most protein. I do have a preference for the chocolate but I only like chocolate to begin with. I also recommend drinking it while it's very cold.

Boost drinks are a tasty and quick way to start (or end) your day - much more nutrition and much less fat and salt than any of the fast food restaurants. For mornings, grab a couple and hit the road. At night, when work is done and it's time to call it a day, have some to relax and visualize your next vacation!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review is for the Chocolate Mocha flavor. Overall: Strong mocha flavor, good protein payoff. I can't say this flavor will be a regular staple for me, because the coffee flavor is strong, but it's nice to mix things up a little. It has enough quality protein that it has helped fill gap times when I couldn't get the snack I needed to not suffer a glucose drop, but as always, protein drinks should never be a meal replacement unless your own doctor (in real, not on TV or YouTube) or a certified nutritionist providing you direct care is advising you. As an every now and then add-on or occasional post workout recovery drink, it's a good choice. Just be forewarned; it's more coffee flavored than chocolate, so if you don't like the bitterness of coffee, stick to the other flavors.

It was much better before they changed the formula and started using an artificial sweetener. They're a little harder on my system now, but I will continue to use them.

i have drank boost rich chocolate for years and loved it but this new stuff was nasty i tried it for a few days and still nasty the taste is weak and bad after taste i was told by my doctor to drink the high protein for my health condition and it helped me but know i cant drink them at all thanks for taking a good thing and making it bad

After, about an hour later I drank half and gave my mother the other half as she is in need of protein. The taste was good and was easy to drink. The texture was smooth and my mother did not have a problem swallowing it either. Not sure if it works or not due to only receiving one bottle and sharing it. I will buy some for my mom to give it another try as she seemed to enjoy it.
