I guess it was a money-saving decision disguised as a positive change, but as a life-long drinker of Lipton Teas, I will not be buying them again. There is no way to store small amounts of it without making a mess, and it also won't travel well any more. There are other brands who still package their tea bags individually, and I will be buying them now, even if they cost more. I'm very disappointed in this change, and hope you will reconsider. I can't comment on the decline in taste or rate it right now, since the packaging stunned me too much to even use the tea bags yet.

I have drank Lipton tea for many years, there's no comparison to making tea at home, first , any tea they sell already made just tastes awful , I have tasted many and they are all bad, so making it at home is the only option, and no tea bag taste like Lipton, I don't know what the difference can be, from other tea bag brands but it just doesn't taste as good as Lipton, and the price is always very reasonable, all you gotta do is look for that bright yellow box and you got the best tasting tea bag in the store,

This is my go to tea to drink on cold winter days! It’s great to snuggle up with on the couch! I personally like it with a little bit of sugar. Having black tea is a staple in our house because too much caffeine makes me jittery. This is the perfect cup of tea!

I am very unhappy with the new packaging. It is difficult to open the gold foil enclosing the cardboard sleeve holding the unwrapped tea bags. It is then hard to reinsert the cardboard back into the foil to try to insure freshness is not compromised. It is also difficult to try to take teabags in a purse. Please reconsider going back to the old paper individual packets. They make much more sense besides being more sanitary.

We have been buying lipton individually wrapped tea bags since we got married 30yr ago. We both grew uponli pton tea. I just opened my first 100ct box of your black tea packaged in the little foil wrappers. The way my Mom made sweet iced tea, the way my wife's Mom made sweet iced tea, is the same way we make sweet iced tea. From Ohio to TX to HI to Thailand to AL to Laos, Australia, to Mexico. We always buy Lipton, and when possible, in the box with the 100ct individually wrapped tea bags. This new box (bar code 0 412870 8) is a really bad idea. We normally move the bags from the original box to an airtight Rubbermaid container to keep them fresh but accessible since the cardboard box is easily damaged and not airtight. I opened the new box and saw the new packaging but when I opened the foil packs the bag are now completely exposed. This idea was just stupid and there is no other way to say it. Am I now supposed to use the entire sleeve of tea bags at one time? Maybe that is how your marketing people designed the packaging. The open sleeve of tea bags are easier to damage, are now more prone to moisture, and the tea will weaken faster than it would if the bags were wrapped individually as they have been in the 54 years that I have been alive. This means that we will have to buy more tea to replace the tea that has gone bad. Wow! What a great way to do business. Take a product that has a 100 year old proven track record and a worldwide dedicated following in over 110 countries and repackage it in shiny foil wrappers it so it will go bad faster so the loyal customers will be forced to buy more. That is a great way to do business. Create a shorter life expectancy for your product so you can sell more. I am making some iced tea now and have not yet tasted the new tea but it already has a weaker smell. It does not smell like the tea I bought last time. Either you changed the mix or the new foil wrapper has disturbed the tea flavor. If the tea tastes bad then I will take it back to Publics and get another brand. If your company will not stay loyal then why should I? I walked into a village located in the middle of now where somewhere in Laos. They did not have electricity for more than a couple hours a day. The lady at the outside eatery came over and all I said was “Lipton” and she brought me some steaming hot water, a stick of sugar cane, and an individually wrapped Lipton tea bag. We did not speak the same language but we both knew what Lipton stood for. You should fire your engineer/designer and the marketing director who backed them on the new packaging.

You Are claiming to save thousands of trees with your new "golden" package. Do you know paper can be recycled? By your new design, the flavor we are buying from Lipton, is not preserved> Let the sleeve be opened, and the tea bags stand opened, how much flavor will be left?....No a fan, and will be searching elsewhere. A shame, did enjoy Lipton's products for years.

We drink sun tea all summer long in our family and my kiddos love “helping” by tossing in and filtering the tea bags as well as watching it steep and letting me know when it’s ready 🙃 When I was little I remember my Mom using Lipton tea bags so out of habit, as an adult, I do the same and because we all love it I see no reason to buy anything else! Great smooth even tea flavor, without being tooo strong or brewing too fast or cloudy! Easy to dissolve sugar into as well for kiddos! Enjoy 🥵 or 🥶 !!

Lipton is my go to tea when I need a quick pick me up. It’s strong enough that one little bag still taste amazing. My little secret to a good tea is adding a little vanilla creamer instead of sugar. If I have a cold I substitute creamer with organic honey and lemon. When I’m done with the tea bags I put them in a zip lock bag and store them in the fridge they are great to use on puffy under eyes. Win, win. #liptontea

Very sad. I love the tea, I've been drinking for years, but the new packaging is terrible! It doesn't keep it fresh at all. It's difficult to open and close. The gold wrapping is thin and cheap! I miss the single packaging before, it kept the tea fresh each single wrapped tea and they were easy to take to go, I could put one in my purse or work bag. Please wrap them single again, so we can be happy again. Thanks

This is my all time favorite black tea. I’m a bit of a tea snob and love trying different kinds and drinking it both hot and iced. However when it comes to black tea this is still my preferred one even over all different varieties of both loose leafed and bagged, expensive and cheap, I still go back to Lipton as the best one
