Hate the new packaging, (instead of individually closed tea bags, it is 4 foil covered sleeves of 25 LOOSE tea bags). The tea bags are no longer easily portable, less hygenic, and do not stay as fresh. Not sure what consumer testing and high paid exec made the decision for this horrible change, but I hope a smart Lipton employee is reading these reviews and will change the packaging back to its original. Just want to make a note, that if this decision was to lower the manufacturing cost, I would gladly pay more for the original, indivudually packed tea bags. As for the taste change, I personally don't see a difference, but I always liked a lighter tea. However my husband has said he can taste the difference...and its not for the better.

The new packaging makes it inconvenient to take to work or keep in a purse or backpack, and the strings are not as long.The tea seems bitter not as smooth. Is there a chance you will go back to the old packaging?

Yummy who doesn't love a nice cold glass for fresh brewed tea on a warm sunny day. I like to add sliced lemons. It really brighten up the bold black tea flavors. Which are delicious and unlike any other brands. I would definitely recommend trying this out especially if you're obsessed with tea like me.

This one usually how I buy Lipton Black Tea Bags, in the 100 count box. We will generally go thru a box in a week or less with as much iced tea as we make. My family has been buying Lipton teas for many years and will continue to buy. We love the taste!

In a pinch this will do. But this is probably my least favorite plain black tea. It tastes very two dimensional. Neither the fragrance nor the taste makes me crave a cup of hot tea (and I usually always crave tea). In an iced tea form it's ok, if you add plenty of lemon.

Smaller tea bags packaged in a sleeve? No good. Tea is weaker, not the same taste and even adding more bags to get flavor and color the taste is not the same. Additionally insulting is that it costs more to buy 100 bags of less value. I am unhappy with this rip-off change. Annoying wrapped string around much small bag containing less tea. Why have you changed the iced tea favorite of mine for years and years?

All the reviewers agree, not the same as before in taste and strength of tea. That should tell you something! I'm not crazy about the new packaging either. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it." I've been buying Lipton Tea for 50 years, but I won't buy another box unless you bring back the original. Take a lesson from Coca Cola, when consumers didn't like the New Coke, they went back to the original formula.

Why have you done this to us Lipton?!? We love our Orange Pekoe Black Tea. You new tea does not taste the same. I have been drinking the original for over 60 years. You are losing customers every minute. Also, your new packaging allows for the tea bags to leak. Not good. We do not want to fish out tea leaves before enjoying our morning brew. Bring back our tea! PLEASE!!!

I do not like this Black Tea as much as I like the Regular. I've been drinking Iced Tea and Hot Tea for 40 years and I'm not sure why you all don't sell the regular anymore. This Black Tea isn't as strong, the bags leak and the taste just isn't there for me. Why did you change it?? This is the only Tea Bag That I Really Really Liked All these Years!! Now I have to settle for less which may not be a good thing. Please bring back the regular tea bags or at least let me know if the Iced Tea bags are the same as the regular and can you still put those in boiling hot water to make cold tea or is it the kind that you use only cold water with because that won't work for me either? It won't taste the same. Can I buy the regular tea bags shown in this picture ANYWHERE???

Just so upset about the change. Makes it look like a generic tea bag. I loved the way it was easy to take with me all wrapped up in its own little package. Have been drinking hot lipton tea for about 30 yrs.But dont think i will continue if it does not change back. The taste doesnt change so why does the packing have 2.
