Bring back the original

Please, please bring back the individually wrapped tea bags! My family has used Lipton for generations. One of the reasons we paid a premium for the tea was that you could put a few wrapped bags in a purse, for when you were out and wanted tea instead of coffee. I know that it probably was a cost cutting measure, but covering the sleeves in gold foil is just a smoke screen, and the tea definitely does not stay as fresh. I will be switching to a wrapped tea bag...

new packaging: are you serious?

Your tea bags were individually wrapped for years, but no longer. Certainly, the new bags will not keep fresh as long, even if stored well, and the tea dust goes everywhere. I can't imagine the few pennies you're saving is worth the amount of displeasure this change is causing those like myself, who appreciated the old packaging.

Amazing staple

The tea is a classic tea to have around the house. To me it’s a staple. I bought a big package when I got my first apartment, and always serve it when hosting. It’s super easy to steep the tea, and is very flavorful. Also useful when dealing with swelling.

You Ruined Your Tea

My husband and I have loved Lipton Tea for 46 years and I've bought a 100 bag box of regular black tea every 2 weeks for our entire married life. Just purchased one with the new packaging. You have made a serious mistake! I will no longer buy your tea because the bags are no longer individually wrapped. I'm sure you've saved money on packaging, but at what cost? If you wanted to save money, keep the tea bags the same and maybe put fewer in the box. You are certain to lose many other consumers. After reading some of the reviews, you've obviously changed the amount and quality of tea in the individual bags. Can't wait to try it and be further disappointed (sarcasm). Judging from the many comments here, you've made the same mistake as Coke did years ago when it reinvented itself with "New Coke". They shot themselves in the foot and lost many, many regular customers. I'm sure you're aware of the phrase "If it ain't broke - don't fix it". I'll be in the market for a new tea, and it most certainly will NOT be Lipton!

Great tea shocking bags

I normally drink a different brand but thought I would try this and I have to say I loved the overall flavour, but what was very disapointing was almost every cup of tea had tea leaves in the tea, it was to the point I had to put the tea bag in a tea strainer when adding the water.....I am now going to go back to my previous tea brand.

I make sweet tea, as I live in the South! I grew it in a saucepan and pour it in a pitcher with sugar. This Lipton black tea is perfect for my tea. I didn't realize that there are so many flavors of tea or that they come in K-Cups! I will be experimenting with these!

Please Go Back to Individually Wrapped Tea Bags!

Individually wrapped tea bags are the only way to go! I buy tea in bulk because my family drinks a lot of tea! Now we have 4 new (100 bag) boxes of this tea in "stay fresh packs", that in my opinion aren't "stay fresh" at all if you cannot reseal an opened foil wrapper. I've been drinking Lipton Tea for almost 30 years (that's nearly my whole life!!!), and I'm truly a fan, but this change, I am not a fan of. Please go back to individually wrapped tea bags! If I go a restaurant and they brought me an opened tea bag, I would refuse. For freshness and sanitary reasons, I would prefer sealed tea bags.

An Inconvenient Truth

Lipton Tea has repackaged tea eliminating the popular individually wrapped tea bag in favor of a "flavor fresh pouch." No longer portable. Once the pouch is open, no longer fresh, the pouch is not resealable. With many hands reaching into the pouch, no longer sanitary. When serving tea, no longer presentable. Not the right choice for me.

Classic

I've had Lipton tea in my household for as long as I can remember. I used to drink it hot with sugar, but now I prefer to drink it room temperature unsweetened. I like how inexpensive it is to buy the tea bags in bulk, so I always have a supply on hand.

Why would you mess with a sure thing?

Lipton paper packets WERE so convenient - take anywhere - now I have this cracker-like sleeve of loose bags. How am I supposed to carry my familiar brand to tea along with me? While I will finish off this box at home, I will be looking for something else to drink on the go - perhaps Stash or Bigelow - although I think their packets are a bit of overkill. The paper was PERFECTION!
