Tea tea time lady

Will not buy again!!

After drinking my favorite Lipton tea for 50 years, I opened the new box and found open, small bags of flavorless tea! What a complete disappointment and waste of money. I tried it 5 times, hoping for some redemption. Threw away 45 tea bags! I was so mad and disappointed!!! What a waste!!!!!!

This is my go

This is my go to tea. I always have a pitcher of sweet tea made in the refrigerator. That's the way my mom is and grandmother was. I don't know if it's a Southern thing since I was born and raised there or just a generational thing. But this is the brand of tea they always used as well. I used to use the bigger bags but the store was out one day. So I bought this instead, I switched to it after because I feel it tastes better and gives fresher tea since the others are not sealed like these. These have four rows with each row sealed in a foil like pack. There are 100 tea bags in the box. I recommend this definitely.

New packaging....

I love the new 25 bag foil sleeves. I make tea nearly everyday....mostly Lipton regular, and this is so much nicer than messing with all those paper pouches. THANK YOU! To whoever realized that stupid paper pouches needed to go! (You may want to consider the old paper pouches as an alternative packaging for those who take Lipton to go.)

Are you kidding me??

I am 60 yrs, old and have loved Lipton tea my entire life. In fact, I so much prefer Lipton that I often carry my own teabag just in case. If a restaurant offers me a premium brand, I will instead ask for Lipton. HOWEVER, if the ridiculous new packaging of tea in "sleeves" rather than a normal paper cover for each bag is my only option, I will switch brands. That's it! I've read all your answers to everyone's complaints and find them to be absurd. I keep teabags at the ready in a ceramic canister. They stay clean, dry, and fresh until needed. The sleeve will not in fit the canister or nor will it keep the bags fresh once opened. I can no longer take a teabag in my designer handbag without worrying that it will stain or that tea leaf residue will be left behind. And I certainly cannot stick a teabag in my jeans pocket! It is my hope that you will rethink your decision to change the packaging because so many Lipton lovers complain. If not, you will lose one of your most loyal customers of all time. Even as I'm writing this my daughter can't believe that I will stop buying my beloved Lipton tea because she knows how brand loyal I am to many of the products our family uses. But if a company decides to "new and improve" a product into a form that is not only no longer useful, but is basically annoying and problematic, then brand loyalty must give way to practicality and usefulness. Sorry Lipton, but you need to listen to your most loyal customers. Just look on your own page at the star ratings given --proof enough!

This is just your basic black tea it is cheaper than some of the more specialty tea companies versions of black tea. It comes in a variety of package sizes and also decaffeinated. This tea can easily become overly bitter if you keep the tea bag in longer than the recommend steep time so be sure to remove your tea bag unless you prefer a more bitter tea.

What was the point of this package change

When was the last time you were able to get a cup of Lipton tea In a restaurant? This new package has put a stop to that. No restaurant is going to hand out loose opened tea bags. Read your reviews. Has this new package done anything to increase your sales? The people writing the reviews are still with you hoping for a change back to the product they knew. The ones not sending a review have moved on to another product.

New bag size.

Like many loyal customers, I, too, am disappointed with the foil. But, what I find most irritating is the smaller bag size. I now need two bags to make a hot cup of tea. Lipton: you lost a loyal customer. I am 58 years old and having been drinking your tea since I was a child. Good bye.

My favorite tea. I grew up with my mom making me cups of this tea on cold days, pitchers of iced tea in the summer. It’s my favorite drink. We don’t ever not have a pitcher of iced tea in my fridge. I use 5 teabags and a cup of sugar for the one large pitcher. Nothing better than sweet tea!

I am a Southern

I am a Southern girl we live on this stuff , everyone knows the south makes the best sweet ice tea and nothing feels so good on a hot humid day than sweet tea gracing your lips and rolling across your tounge, until you can't help but to make that sound "you know the sound I am talking about" and Lipton helps get you there

Thinner material for teabag

I recently bought a new box of Lipton Decaffienated Black Tea. I'm pretty frugal (read cheap!), and I like to re-use my tea bag a second day. Unfortunately, so far, all of the bags in this box have broken or shredded. I have to watch carefully so that I can grab the bag out of the cup as soon as it starts to leak. Sometimes, I can't even use a teabag for one day, let alone two. Please re-consider the material that you are using for the bags.
