I have been a Lipton Tea drinker for more than three decades, and I was not happy when I accidentally bought a box of these foil-wrapped bags. They are loose in the bag (do not have the classic Lipton paper enclosing the tea bag), so they make a mess in the crystal jar I keep the tea bags in (hey, it was a present) and I can't toss one in my purse without putting it in a plastic bag. I got online trying to find the old Lipton bags because my grocery store only has the ones in the foil. I guess I am switching to another brand. :-(

I was raised drinking this tea. I drink it several ways. By itself but with sugar of course. Adding milk, and that would be either first thing in the morning, if we are out of coffee or the end of the day when you want something hot before going to bed. And finally adding some fresh mint just elevates the tea to a different level.

First of all, may I say that Lipton Tea is my go to drink. It is my vice. It wakes me up, picks me up mid day and puts me to sleep at night. Hot in the winter, cold in the summer, I need my Lipton Tea!! Now I must ask you, why did you strip my beloved tea bags of their wrappers? I ant take these tea bags with me in my purse. They aren't going to keep as nice as they did prior to your new design. I really wish that you would reconsider this decision and go back to the old packaging. Thanks, 50 year + tea drinker

My family uses these tea bags to make sun tea. We put a bunch of the tea bags into a Mason jar full of water, and put it outside in the sun for a few hours. The sun warms the water naturally, and steeps the tea. With some berries and stevia, or lemon or orange juice, this tea can be really good.

I drink this tea since I was a child my mother would make it and there's no room for improvement it's perfect for a tea cold or hot always boil and then put sugar in water in a gallon jug like I said I am a repeat consumer and I will never change the brand that I buy this is the tea for me

I'll still buy lipton to make my iced tea but I'll probably just buy in the store from now on. First these are the old style bags so they are most likely expired. The new lipton bags are sealed in foil and not in individual paper wrappers. Not a huge deal but wondering if I got old bags. Second see the picture...half of my box of 100+ bags all leaked out tea. The bags were not sealed properly or something happened during the process that ruined the bags.

I have been a loyal Lipton tea drinker my entire life. I was so shocked and disappointed when they changed the packaging and put the unwrapped tea bags in the foil box. I do think it is unsanitary as the other readers have posted. I also think that you can't just throw them in your purse now either. I'm begging you Lipton Tea.....please change back to the individually wrapped tea bags!!!! We all miss them!

I am from the south and we LOVE some sweet tea! I have always used Lipton black tea bags for my sweet tea and needless to say, my family is always asking me to make them some. Here we are in a blizzard and they still want tea!! You can never go wrong with Lipton tea!!

I use this tea a lot especially during the summer time. I love Tea and I love making a pitcher and I believe this product has definitely made a great impact. It’s affordable and I am able to make a lot of tea as well. There is not much to fix about this

Have not been able to find the individual wrapped regular tea bags for quite some time and now finding out you have instead opted for the gold inter packaging. VERY UNHAPPY with your choice. The individually wrapped gave some security of others touching the tea bags, provided an easy pack/travel method and what I believe to be why my mother and now my generation continued purchasing your tea. If you are trying to save money on packaging, give up that gold wrapper that once opened is absolutely worthless and environmentally unfriendly. Lipton, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. If your product made you famous and a marketing team told you the gold inner wrapper would be better, you need a new marketing team. Very sad because after 3 generations, I'm now looking for a new brand.
