Foil packaging is terible

I've been drinking Lipton tea for as long as I can remember. I take it with me when I go out or travel. This new packaging won't allow me to do that. I also can't keep the bags in my tea bag holder since they're unwrapped. In addition, being unwrapped, they can not really be put out for guests. Poor decision on someone's part. Please bring back the individually wrapped bags.

Flavor change

I was finishing up a box of Lipton with the original formula/packaging for my first cup of the morning, then I made a second cup with a fresh tea bag from a new box with the new package. There was a major difference in taste between the two cups. We’re talking same water, same brewing method, SAME MORNING. The second cup from the new box was flat, weak, lacking the bright tannic sharpness of the original tea. Insipid, boring….I’m running out of adjectives. I tried making a third cup with two tea bags. Still dull and uninteresting. Tried brewing with multiple tea bags in a tea pot with a tea cozy—that was a modest improvement but more work than it was worth. You keep asserting on your web site that it’s the same formula, but it cannot be the same tea—there must be a change in plantations, or method of harvest, or drying—it is far too dramatic a difference and too many people are saying the same thing for to be a chance off-lot. I am sparing your web site my discussion of the alternative, but a hint: Her Majesty may know best.

black tea

I have been drinking lipton black tea since I was a child and I love it however since they changed the packaging I do not care for it , I used to be able to take the tea bags where ever I went because they were individually wrapped and since they aren't anymore I cant , really disappointed ,

I live on iced black tea. It's what I drink all day, every day. I typically use this Lipton tea as it's cost effective and tastes great. It fits have a tendency to be a bit bitter and acidic is you let it steep just a couple of minutes too long, however.

love the packaging

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new packaging because now when I make ice tea I don't have little tea particles in the bottom if my pitcher from the box. Sometimes it takes me a little longer to use a box, so now I know the last one is just as fresh as the first. Keep up the great work!

The OG of orange pekoe and black tea. Makes a reliable cup of tea, and can be brewed cold. It also works great in a Mr. Coffee Iced Tea Maker, no need to overpay for pitcher bags. It's not exactly an exciting, earth shattering tea, but it is consistent and delicious. No complaints from us.

Lipton black tea is a great all around store bought black tea. Been around forever and makes great iced tea. I always have a box in the cupboard even with all the boutique type brands I buy as well. It’s a comforting, familiar flavor! You can’t go wrong.

Black Tea Bags

Please change back to the original Lipton Black Tea formula and packaging. By 'original,' I am asking for the delicious tea I have been drinking for years that has been individually packaged in the nice paper envelope. The new package design does not work and the tea formulation has changed because it tastes different and odd to me. I'm buying a different brand now, but I will return to Lipton bags when you revert back to the tea that I have been drinking for years, packaged in individual serving packets. It reminds me of the CocaCola blunder years ago, when they changed their formula and the Coke drinkers of the world revolted! Coke was smart to revert back to the original formula; I hope Lipton does the same or you have lost me as a customer.

Poor packaging

After reading reviewers talking about the new packaging, I was so pleased to know I am not the only one disappointed. As consumers, we don't fall for your reason "So good we had to wrap it up." , Truly, we are not completely clueless. There are other brands of tea I enjoy, so now there is really nothing to set you apart. I counted on the Lipton envelope to toss in my purse or lunch bag. So sorry to see you have caved. Sent on the new Sprint Network from my Samsung Galaxy S®4.

This is a great tea. My family and I drink it several times a day every day. I like the packaging in comes in. There's no need to improve this product, it tastes great. I do like trying new flavors though. I'd buy this again and again. I recommend it to everyone. Being pregnant I love that they sale decaffeinated tea. Lipton I give you a huge thank you for that.
