I find thew mix of lipton tea to be more like drinking hot cool aids. I have alway used lipton tea to make my southern sweet ice tea. Following a tried and true mix as old lipton boxes gave in the beginning. Now the flavor of the tea is changed to the point of hot cool aid. I know things change in time, but southern sweet tea has not. Just Lipton Tea has changed. I have to use twice as much tea long with a blend of orange peko and black tea just to get the flavor I am use to. Best yet, I just use the competitive tea brand to get what I like in my sweet Ice Tea.

My favorite tea is the black tea. I grew up on this brand and to me, I can tell the difference in teas. If I am unable to find Lipton, and I have to get another brand, as soon as I can get Lipton I stock up so I don't run out again. Have shopped at multiple stores before just to get Lipton.

I love Lipton tea; it's my favorite brand but the loss of the paper sleeves is a hardship for me. When I pull the tea bag out of the cup, I place it on top of the paper sleeve, move to the sink and squeeze it out. Now, I have to dirty up a saucer to place it on and as it's too hot to handle without the paper sleeve, let it cool down before squeezing it out and putting in the recycle bin. My family is tired of seeing tea bags littering the counters.

It’s hard to think of a downside to this tea. For as long as I can remember Lipton teabags have been somewhere in my house, and they’ve always provided a good, strong brew. I have noticed that once opened the teabags in the box lose their scent quicker and some other brands, but buying a smaller amount puts an end to that issue.

I was raised drinking this tea. I drink it several ways. By itself but with sugar of course. Adding milk, and that would be either first thing in the morning, if we are out of coffee or the end of the day when you want something hot before going to bed. And finally adding some fresh mint just elevates the tea to a different level.

Disappointed with the changes made to Lipton tea. The leaves seem to be ground finer and there's less per bag making a less tasty cup of tea. I will be changing brands after close to 45 years of drinking Lipton. Sad day. I think they are spending all their money on packaging and not product.

This tea is super nostalgic for me. This was my grandmother's favorite tea and I have drank many gallons with her over the years. I like my tea strong, and this product does just that without having to use a ton of bags. I drink this tea with my kids now and can't wait to drink it with their kids, as well.

Lipton black tea has always been my go to. When I’m sick or have a dry throat. This tea never ever disappoints. It’s a staple in every simple persons pantry. If you want something super fragrant this isn’t it. But if your not feeling well or want to drink a nice tea this is the one to purchase.

I agree with the other commenters about the new packaging. It is definitely less sanitary and I wouldn't want to give it to guests that way. If I want to have some in my purse, or pack them for a trip now I have to put them in a plastic ziplock bag, so how did that help the environment? Individual paper wrappers compost/recycle more easily than plastic bags. I don't see how the open foil wrap keeps unwrapped teabags fresher. Am I doing something wrong? I now put the whole sleeve in a plastic ziplock bag too, for freshness and cleanliness. Another plastic bag wasted. This was a huge misstep. Now I have to switch to a brand that individually wraps their teabags in paper.

I've always bought Lipton tea. I love getting the bags because you can add whatever you want to it and make it however you want. 99% I want lemon sugar and ice. Which this tea is perfect with all that. But I also like how it's also great that 1% when I want it hot with honey. Will always be a Lipton customer!
