Love sweet tea

"Lotion Sweet Tea captures the essence of a summer's day in a bottle. Its soothing texture glides effortlessly onto the skin, providing a burst of hydration that feels like a cool drink for parched skin. The scent, reminiscent of freshly brewed sweet tea with a hint of citrus, adds an invigorating touch that lingers pleasantly throughout the day. This Lipton is a treat for the senses, leaving your skin nourished and your senses refreshed. It's the perfect companion for moments of self-care and relaxation."

New and "improved" black tea

What the heck are you people thinking? Your black tea has tasted the same to me for my whole life and I'm 70 years old. I usually drink two cups of your black tea every evening and untold glasses of iced tea in the summer, but we just recently got a box with the new packaging and this stuff is undrinkable. I see a number of comments by people who are all lathered up about your new packaging, I can take or leave that, but the flavor (or lack of flavor) is unacceptable. Whoever is responsible for this change needs to be fired and the previous tea blend put back into your yellow boxes, however you want to package it. This box of tea is going over the side and until I hear otherwise no more Lipton Tea will be purchased by this household. In addition, your rating system needs a "0" star because a "1" is too high. This is a huge disappointment because I have enjoyed your product so much in the past.

Weak new taste & bad packaging

I was a loyal fan of Lipton for years. I drink it, and my dad and aunts and uncles drank it and ,my grandparents and great grandparents drank it. It was reliable and terrific. I bought a new box yesterday and the packaging will certainly stale the tea but I am surprised by the weak taste it now has. I immediately made a cup of hot tea the way I usually did before and I let it steep and it was weak. I let sit for an hour and it was still weak. My advice until Lipton returns to their roots: Throw this Tea in the Harbor.

Good quality middle of the road black tea

Excellent "American tea." Perfect for the occasional cup or for gallons of ice tea. Must be refrigerated soon after reaching room temperature or it will begin to develop a soured taste. It's the tea I grew up on, and will always be a family favorite.

Never disappoints

I am a tea lover and have tried various brands and flavors of tea, but Lipton's Black Tea has always been my go-to choice. One of the reasons why I prefer Lipton Black Tea over other brands is its quality. The tea leaves are carefully selected and perfectly blended to create a perfect cup of tea. I have never encountered any tea bag with broken or crushed leaves, which speaks highly of the quality control of Lipton. Another aspect that I really love about this tea, is its versatility. It can be enjoyed as a hot or iced tea, and it goes well with milk, honey, or lemon. I have also used it in various tea-based recipes, and it has never disappointed .

Ugh, the packaging

Hi there, Lipton. I agree with other reviews. Bring back your former packaging. I do like the little slit in the tag that allows me to avoid a "two-handed" pour (spoiled, much?). C'mon. This packaging style is not working. My tea bags are "stale" by the time I use them. Overall, it's just not a satisfying experience. I look forward to a return to the past. Thanks!

My go-to black tea for as long as I can remember. Perhaps that’s because it’s also been my mom’s go-to for as long as I can remember :) I’m always open to trying generic brands to save some money, but this is one thing that I find cannot be replicated. It’s so smooth, yet bold, makes the perfect cup of hot or iced tea. I drink mine unsweetened and love every sip.

I hate the new packaging!

The only brand of tea drink is Lipton's. There are usually a few packets in my bag at all times. With the new gold sleeves that's not possible. I don't want to buy the little boxes, and I don't want to have to join a club to get the individually wrapped packets. Please bring back the old packaging.

New Packaging is a Disaster

I have been drinking Lipton tea for 45 years and am so disappointed in the new foil wrapped bags. I can no longer throw some in my purse or in my suitcase. It is very unsanitary to have everyone reaching into a canister. Plus the favor is NOT the same. My mother raised me to believe I could "wash away my troubles" with a good cup of tea and now my good cup of tea no longer exists.

new packaging is AWFUL!

I hate this new packaging! I carry tea bags with me everywhere and I can't with this packaging. I'll have to switch brands, not happy but if I'm going to be able to have tea any time I want I have to. This could not have been put thru any true consumer testing because I know I'm not alone in this opinion. So much for tea replacing coffee with this happening. Sorry....on to a new brand.
