I noticed there is a new packaging to Lipton tea. I still like the individual wrapping of each tea bag in the box, but the new packaging is fine for me. The taste is still delicious and I make my tea pretty strong with sugar only. I am going to keep on buying Lipton tea!

I love Lipton black tea I've been using it for years when making iced tea. It's got a great full body flavor. I can't think of any Improvement what did needs to make on their black tea. It's packaged well it's fresh when you open it. Definitely would recommend for iced tea Brewers.

I've been drinking Lipton tea forever, and it has a crisp tea taste, always smooth. I saw all the bad reviews of the new packaging..I bought it today in the 20 pack new packaging, I think it looks elegant, and I love it. I hope you'll continue to offer it in this new packaging..Thanks very much.

The new packaging is ridiculous and unnecessary. I've been drinking Lipton tea for 40+ years. You've now added foil wrapping and the awful tag/string/slit to the bags. What I see is a method/reason to increase your prices and try to compete with other, fancy gourmet teas. Ridiculous. No more grab n go tea bags and the ridiculous tag/string/slit combination is annoying. I end up pulling the string completely off of the bag 9 out of 10 times, and then I have to deal with no string or try to tie the stupid thing back on. Your product and packaging was fine just the way it was. I would love to see the data that was collected from users that prompted you to make these changes. I'm guessing from the number of poor reviews on this site since the changes were made, there isn't any such data. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Like many of the other recent reviews, I'm very dissatisfied with the new packaging. The tea does not stay as fresh. It takes on other favors from the cabinet which results in tea tasting odd. I realize the new packaging saved Lipton money, however ultimately you will lose revenue since sales will decrease. I used to tell people my favorite black tea was Lipton - consistent, reliable and a bold strong black tea flavor. In no longer tell people that. I'm currently looking for a new reliable black tea. Please go back to the old packaging. Thank you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the new packaging because now when I make ice tea I don't have little tea particles in the bottom if my pitcher from the box. Sometimes it takes me a little longer to use a box, so now I know the last one is just as fresh as the first. Keep up the great work!

I love all kinds of teas, and I've been a fan of traditional black teas ever since I was a kid! I like Lipton because it has a bold flavor and keeps me going, especially after lunch at work. I appreciate the foil wrappers in the 100-count packages, because you're only exposing 25 tea bags to the elements at a time -- It's like getting four packages in one! The old outer paper envelope used before really didn't protect the tea at all anyway, so it was more of a cosmetic artifact to begin with. Keep up the good work!!

I actually sell these at work (tea bags in hot water). So I rarely drink coffee at all. When I need a pick me up at work (I open the store at 6am),i sometimes would get a tea bag, some half n half, and Splenda and make myself a milk tea. The tea is decent. Keeps me warm during the mornings.

I tried the new tea with the new packaging.. I don't care what Lipton says, the tea does not taste the same, and it doesn't taste as good as the old Lipton Tea. I have been drinking Lipton for 55 years. I know how it is supposed to taste, and this new swill ain't it. I am not a professional taster, so I might not be able to desribe the change, but the tea is flat, bitter, and has lost that bouquet or great aroma or whatever you call it. It tastes stale and old. It tastes like the cheap tea now. This reminds me of the New Coke fiasco. As the saying goes, "All things must pass away." Sad to see Lipton tea die such a death. I hope someone can figure out how to bring it back. Untill then, Hasta la vista, I won't be back.
