Hi David R - it sounds like your door is out of adjustment and allowing warm humid room air to enter the freezer where it condenses and freezes causing frost.<br />You can check the door by running your hand around the perimeter of the unit - are there spots where you feel cold air?<br />You can adjust the door swing by loosening the top hinge and pulling the door closer to the body of the freezer and tightening the hinge again. Also, adjust the front legs so the front of the freezer is slightly higher than the rear so gravity will help keep the door closed.<br />Close the door on a dollar bill at several locations around the perimeter of the door - you should feel resistance when pulling the dollar bill out. If the dollar bill is easy to pull out, the door is not positioned properly.<br />You should also lubricate the door gasket with a bit of petroleum jelly (Vaseline) to keep it pliable.
