As a late 70 year old Great Grandma, with aches and pains everywhere , I couldn't get a good nights sleep on my 15 year old mattress and topper. At this time I couldn't afford a new mattress, So I wanted to give this a try. So very happy I did. I opened my package and let it expand as directed, I put the pillow top cover in the dryer and fluffed it, and with a little bit of effort by myself I put the cover on and then put the topper on my bed. I’m hoping Serta sees this review and makes the team that designed this product sleep on it. We owned the earlier design of this topper that we loved. That version’s 1 inch part was like a fitted sheet that held the 3 inch foam firmly in place. This absolute poor design has the foam enveloped in what reminds me of a big pillow case with a zipper. We have to readjust this thing every morning and it is a major headache. DO NOT PURCHASE unless you want to pay for disappointment.

I have searched and went thru so many toppers! I’d give double the asking price in a minute! It is VERY SOFT! If you want firm this is not for you! If you have pain in hips this is the perfect topper for you! You literally sink into it, so plush like a big marshmallow!

I have always liked a "softer" bed ... I know that firm is better for your back but I like that "soft cozy feel." This mattress topper though is much too soft. I weigh 145 pounds and feel like I'm really "sinking down in." It has given me a back ache. This is so strange ... I never in the world would ever have thought I could have a mattress "too soft." lol

I am not normally one to write reviews… but I could not wait to write this one. I have a 4 inch memory foam topper on top of my California king bed and needed a topper for another bed in the house so I broke down and purchased this one even though it was more money. OMG!!!! The pillow top makes all the difference in the world. This topper is amazing. So amazing that I am throwing out the 4” memory foam topper I have on my Cal King bed and buying this. Best night sleep ever. I want to sleep in this bed every night which does not make my hubby happy. So I will buy another for our bed. Worth every penny

I didn't realize that this topper would completely conform to my body and envelop me. It way too cushy. I bought it to go on top of my firm mattress. Once you lay down on it trying to change positions or get out of bed is challenging. You sink to the bottom and fight to get out of bed.

Was going to purchase another brand since this one was listed as online only. But when I got to our local Sams Club, this memory foam topper was there. So We purchased it. Opened it up and I have not noticed any unpleasant smell. Takes about 4 hours to fully expand. I can't wait to sleep on it. I did lay on it for a bit and no hip pain. "Thank you Jesus!"

I bought this and am really enjoying it. I must say that while it is supportive and soft, it makes my bed hot. I now sleep with a lightweight blanket instead of a comforter. I wish the material kept the bed a little cooler, but other than that, I am happy with my purchase.

This product is not the same as a couple of years ago. We have bought 5 in the last 4 years for various beds. The new ones we ordered (in the last 6 months) came in plain brown boxes. The new "cover" they are using does not make it stay in place. I am having to pull up to the headboard every couple of days. For the price (which has gone up 30%) it should stay. This is one of the most expensive toppers you can buy and I will not be buying again.

So we thinking on a new mattress and I’d rather have a separate topper on a firm mattress than a pillow top mattress. Bought this at Sams to try out on old mattress since I’d get it anyways. Just had the best sleep in years and now wondering if I should even bother with a new mattress. Also like that the pad can be washed. Contrary to some reviews I’ve read. There was no smell. It rolled open perfectly. Did not air it out. You may or may not need deep pocket sheets. Depends on your mattress thickness. But the absolute best part was the sleep I just had. I’m always out of bed by 6am. It is now 10 am and I’m just enjoying this. I can sit up too to read without that hollow spot that keeps you uncomfortable. This is a 10 thumbs up purchase.
