We have a rule in our house when daylight savings happens we change all the batteries in the remotes and smoke alarms. We use lithium in any electronics we can around the house. And they always last until the next change. I have consistent on-demand power in my electronics and it lasts.

Under constant use for 48 hours these batteries performed at a very high level of performance, at no time did these batteries lose energy.
