[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a free sample of Aveeno’s Daily Moisturizing Body Wash from PINCHme and have been asked to provide an honest and truthful review of my experience with the product. The body wash is more lightly scented than I initially expected, but I then noticed that it does say “lightly scented” on the packaging. If you are sensitive to fragranced body products, this body wash may be a decent option. The scent that is in the product has a kind of 3-star hotel gender neutral smell. It is a mild scent. Not bad, not bold, just a slight scent. It has a runny consistency, and it doesn’t immediately lather; it may be best used with a bath pouf or washcloth. Because it is made for dry skin, it definitely was very gentle. The downside to this is that I felt that I needed to use quite a bit of product in order to get myself clean. I feel that this body wash would be good for sensitive skin. It left my skin feeling soft, not dried out or tight, and didn’t leave much of a scent behind.

My skin actually feels softer and more hydrated even after washing off. I have very sensitive skin that reacts easily and this hasn’t caused any issues whatsoever. My arms are typically dry in the morning and they’re not when I use this body wash! The scent is light and doesn’t last long. Giving 4 stars because it’s not cruelty free.

I did notice, the first time I used it, a somewhat oily feeling on my skin, but I think that may have been my body adjusting to it as I haven't had it since. Subtle scent, like a lotion, and you don't need to use all that much, especially compared to some of the cheaper brands. If you need a moisturizing body wash, give it a try.

I use this before shaving and it leaves my skin so smooth and soft, it cleans gently and moisturizes my skin. I think the price point is great and within reason, I definitely will repurchase I’m so grateful to finally have a gentle body wash!
