I recognize Aveeno as a brand that has ingredients that work well with sensitive skin. My son has broken out from soaps in the past, so thought this may be another good option for him. Sometimes I find the Aveeno lotion to smell a bit odd, but this smells great. It is only lightly scented, but a bit sweet and maybe of oats or a clean sort of scent. It is nice but I don’t really notice it anymore after exiting the shower. This is a gel and is a nice thickness, not watery. It does seem moisturizing; I have dry skin and it seems to do ok with this. I probably wouldn’t have reached for this body wash at the store, but after using it, would absolutely make the purchase in the future.

I used the daily moisturizing body wash by Aveeno consistently for the last 7 days and I can definitely feel my skin is more nourished. I like that the smell is light enough to smell but not strong enough to burn my eyes.

I also really enjoyed how soft it left my skin feeling. I do however still prefer using my current brand of a bar soap on my sensitive areas. Overall, I would definitely recommend it to a friend, especially if you have dry skin!

As soon as I put some in my hand I noticed it has a very thick consistency which is great because these tend to be better. The lather is great, I don’t use much on my entire body just the amount shown in the photos. Another first impression was that it has a great scent that’s not overpowering. The scent even lasts a while on your skin after you have dried off and gotten dressed. When in the shower it sort of feels like there are remanentes after rinsing but after drying off it goes away.

The smell I’d not strong, but is pleasant. I think it had just enough moisturizer to keep my skin soft without feeling greasy. Overall, I strongly recommend.

Aveeno use to be known as a cleaner option, but this product, while labeled lightly scented, still contains fragrance and other skin irritants. It’s not something I’d buy.
