We loaded them with hot foods, wet food, desserts and they didn't fall apart. I didn't have any leaks either. They are simple yet elegant, and we throw them in the bag to use at our campsite. Great for smores too, even feeding the cat! We use them for bread plates too, very versatile. These are a great alternative to plastic plates that will sit in landfills for years to come.
